Chris Pratt celebrates rarely-seen son Jack’s 13th birthday with heartfelt tribute

Chris Pratt is officially a dad to a teenager!

Chris Pratt, who is 46 years old and famously known for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, celebrated a significant event on social media this week as his son, Jack, turned 13 years old.

Through a heartfelt message, Pratt reminisced about the journey of seeing his oldest child mature, and he generously shared a collection of cherished photographs depicting their precious moments spanning several years.

On his Instagram Story, Pratt expressed surprise that Jack, who turns 13 today, has grown into a remarkable young man. He is genuinely proud of how Jack is shaping up as a person and loves him deeply, adding that Jesus reigns supreme in their lives.

The collage showcased them enthusiastically supporting the Los Angeles Dodgers, both at SoFi Stadium and nurturing a young calf with milk.

Jack is Pratt’s first child, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.

After parting ways in a divorce back in 2018 following almost nine years of marriage, the ex-spouses have been harmoniously sharing parental responsibilities for their child ever since.

Afterwards, Pratt got married again to author Katherine Schwarzenegger. Together, they have three daughters named Lyla, who is 3 years old, Eloise, aged 2, and a son, Ford, who is 9 months old.

Meanwhile, Faris secretly married her husband, Michael Barrett, back in July 2021.

In 2023, Pratt advised people to ‘rush’ into into having children to give you more time together. 

During the interview, he suggested not delaying parenthood and described it as an extraordinary experience.

In conversation with Men’s Journal, he expressed his viewpoint: “Often, people advise ‘Don’t hurry to have children.’ However, I feel differently. Embrace the speed. Welcome them into your life. Just remember, make sure you find a wonderful companion, but don’t put off starting a family.

He shared this: “A while ago, I had a conversation with Adam Sandler, and he told me, ‘Each day you delay is a day they miss having you in their lives.’

‘The younger you have kids, the more time they get to have with you.

Experiencing parenthood is truly extraordinary. It offers a fresh perspective on life, making everyday occurrences seem novel once again. As children mature, the focus shifts towards fostering relationships and appreciating their individuality and distinct qualities.

The tender nature of their feelings, their unique thought processes, their similarities with you, and their differences.

Chris mentioned that the transition into fatherhood influenced his career choices, specifically affecting the types of roles he pursues.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say, “Just like becoming a father alters your identity as an actor, it most certainly influences the types of characters and roles you find yourself drawn towards.

As a devoted parent, I’ve found myself drawn towards exploring more PG-rated films. My children’s interest often leads us to these movies, and honestly, some of them fall short of my expectations. In those moments, I can’t help but think, “This could be so much better.

While aiming to craft films that would amuse my children, I’m simultaneously considering producing movies that will be gentle on their parents.
