Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger confirm third child’s birth and reveal name

As a long-time fan who’s been following Chris Pratt’s journey from Andy Dwyer to Star-Lord, I must say, this news about the birth of Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt is just as heartwarming as watching him save the galaxy! It seems that Chris and Katherine are truly living their own intergalactic love story, complete with a beautiful family expanding in leaps and bounds.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger recently announced the arrival of their third child, who they’ve named… (The name follows here)

In an Instagram post shared by them both, the couple announced that their third child, a baby boy named Ford Fitzgerald, was born to Katherine in 2023, making it their latest addition to their family which already includes daughters Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina.

They happily shared the news of their newborn son’s arrival: Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt.

Mommy and the newborn are both thriving, and Ford’s brothers and sisters are overjoyed about his birth. We couldn’t be more fortunate and thankful. With love, Katherine and Chris.

Since then, they have been inundated with well-wishing messages, among them a note from Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, that read: “Scorpios are in charge!” followed by: “I couldn’t be happier for you all.

Presenter Mario Lopez cheered with a hearty “Congratulations!”, and Zoe Saldaña, one of Chris’s Guardians of the Galaxy crew, exclaimed enthusiastically, “Massive congratulations!!!

fellow Guardians actor Karen Gillan posted a string of heart emojis, just like Patrick (Katherine’s brother) did too.

Apart from having a son named Jack with his former wife, Anna Faris, Chris got married to Katherine in the year 2019.

After the arrival of his initial child, Chris expressed a willingness to expand his family further during an interview with E! News Daily Pop in 2021, stating: “Having a second child really highlights what was unique about your first child as when you have one kid, you tend to take their growth and development for granted. You assume all children develop at the same pace.

Then, another child appears, possibly with unique characteristics, which helps bring out contrasts. It’s been quite enjoyable to experience this.

With my eldest being a boy, and now having a daughter too, it feels distinctly unique, perhaps causing me to respond in subtly different ways. I find myself not engaging in as much roughhousing as before, for reasons I can’t quite explain. Instead, I just enjoy snuggling with both of them.
