As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself taken aback during last Friday’s Coldplay performance in Las Vegas when Chris Martin unexpectedly paid tribute to someone who was rumored to be an old flame – none other than Dakota Johnson.
After spending approximately eight years together, it’s said that the singer (aged 48) and the actress (aged 35) have gone their separate paths following a relationship lasting eight years.
The Paradise singer expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the packed Allegiant Stadium, and then made an unexpected nod towards Johnson’s recently released movie.
In my advice, extend kindness towards your own self and others, for it truly makes a difference. And remember, don’t overlook the importance of taking care of yourself, as we genuinely care about you all! This is the message I want to convey based on the video shared by Deuxmoi.
It appeared as though the individual recording the video interpreted the promotion as indicating they weren’t broken up, but others held a different viewpoint on this matter.
‘I can totally seeing him supporting her even after the break up,’ another stated.
One fan stated, ‘It’s possible to end a relationship yet remain supportive. Consider the example of the hitmaker and his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.’

The fan wondered if he played a significant role in initiating the concept of ‘conscious uncoupling’, as it was used by Martin and Paltrow during their separation in 2014, which wasn’t legally finalized until two years after that.
One fan pointed out this wasn’t the first time Martin had promoted the Materialists.
‘He did this after the Stanford shows too,’ they explained.
Martin and Johnson started spending time together back in 2017, yet this very private duo didn’t officially acknowledge their romantic involvement until much afterward.
Reps for the pair have not officially confirmed their split.
Materialists, Johnson’s new romantic comedy, will open in theaters June 13.
In an intriguing turn of events, the romantic comedy finds Johnson’s character, the matchmaker, facing a delightful dilemma as she must decide between two captivating suitors: Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal.
‘I really love a rom-com if it feels like I can connect to the people in it,’ she told Variety.

Materialists is her first in that genre since 2016’s How to be Single.
She mentioned that she’s struggled to establish connections with the individuals in some of the roles presented to her, explaining her lack of participation in that particular genre.
Johnson admitted that she agreed with Materialists due to the intricate nature of all the personalities involved, as well as the enigma presented by the paradox.
She was attracted to the concept of people being perplexed about how to utilize their hearts effectively, and unsure of the correct course of action. I found this remarkably candid, and it struck a strong chord with me as it resonated deeply.
