At Coldplay’s concert in Boston on Wednesday, Chris Martin unexpectedly spoke to the crowd, leaving a pair unawares.

During the performance at Gillette Stadium, when the lead singer swept his “kiss cam” across the audience, the couple was shocked to find themselves displayed on the massive screen in front of thousands.

Look at those two, aren’t they something!” he exclaimed, as they quickly hid themselves and ducked behind the safety barrier. What’s going on?

A TikTok video posted by Chris humorously suggested two possibilities: either the individuals are secretly involved romantically, or they are unusually reserved.

The band are currently in the US as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour. 

After that, they’ll perform in Madison, Nashville, and Miami, followed by a series of shows in the UK during August.

Coldplay have topped the list of artist earnings from live concerts this year.

It’s been said that the band has allegedly amassed a staggering £100 million this year from their Spheres World Tour, with each performance generating approximately £4.8 million.

They significantly outpace Shakira, who has accumulated approximately £85 million from her live shows, by a substantial margin.

Third on the list are artists Kendrick Lamar and SZA, earning approximately £73.91 million, followed closely by The Eagles in fourth place, who have amassed around £68.82 million.

Simultaneously, Chris, the lead singer of Coldplay, ended his eight-year relationship with Dakota Johnson in the previous month, doing so discretely.

In 2017, they began their partnership, eventually leading to an engagement. However, they ended their relationship in June, as per a reliable source from DailyMail. But here’s an interesting tidbit: a covert high-profile insider is reportedly making preparations for a potential reunion.

Chris sparked speculation with a cryptic shout-out to Dakota at Coldplay’s Las Vegas show in June. 

The Paradise singer expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the packed audience at Allegiant Stadium, and then surprisingly mentioned Johnson’s recent movie.

Reps for the pair have not officially confirmed their split. 

According to DailyMail.com’s source, the actress deeply cherished both the man and his children, which is why she ardently desired their relationship to flourish due to her immense affection for them.

The source shared: ‘Dakota feels deeply sad about not seeing her children as often now, yet assures them of her constant availability whenever they need her.’

It was mentioned that there’s a possibility the duo might reunite. At this moment, being apart could be beneficial for them if they are to have any kind of future together.

Initially, DailyMail hinted at issues between them back in August 2024; however, their representative subsequently verified that they remained a couple.

In 2019, there were rumors suggesting a short-lived separation between the duo, with whispers that it stemmed from Chris advocating for them to start a family. However, they reconciled swiftly afterwards.

In March 2014, following a decade of marriage, he became separated from Paltrow, the mother of their two teenage children, Apple (aged 21) and Moses (aged 19).
