Chris Hughes Sends Heartfelt Message to Jesy Nelson After Birth of Twin Daughters
Chris Hughes extended well wishes to his former partner, Jesy Nelson, after she gave birth to her twin daughters as a new mom in the Little Mix spotlight.
Following a challenging pregnancy with higher risks, Jesy and her partner Zion Foster announced the healthy birth of their twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, prematurely at 31 weeks. On Sunday, they shared an Instagram post expressing their joy and love for their precious girls.
Among many well-known figures and admirers, Chris was among those who commented on the post, offering a heartfelt message: “Bravo to both of you, you look amazing.
Love Island star Chris and Jesy split in April 2020 after 16 months together.
He recently fought back tears as he emotionally compared his new love interest JoJo Siwa to Jesy.
In their time on Celebrity Big Brother, Chris and US celebrity JoJo Siwa sparked some intrigue with what appeared to be a playful camaraderie.

During this conversation as we wrap up the show, Chris shared enthusiastically: ‘JoJo brings back many memories… What captivates me about her isn’t so much her accomplishments, but rather her experiences from her teenage years, which are strikingly similar to those of my former girlfriend.’
They share a common trait in their personalities due to their kind-heartedness, resilience, and compassion. Essentially, what makes them admirable is their similar nature.
At an early stage in their lives, both Jesy and JoJo achieved recognition. Notably, JoJo gained fame as a child star on Dance Moms, whereas Jesy, at the tender age of 20, emerged victorious in the X Factor alongside Little Mix.
Since the end of March, Jesy has been admitted to the hospital following a diagnosis of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), which is an uncommon complication that could potentially affect one or both of the babies.
She assured everyone that both the girls were fine and healthy, as she updated her Instagram account a few days after an early delivery.
Jesy unveiled the endearing names of her newborns to her 9.7 million followers, also posting two heartwarming photos of herself and her partner lovingly holding the babies.
It turns out our lovely twin girls arrived at 31 weeks and 5 days. The events transpired rather swiftly, but we’re incredibly grateful that they’re here with us, thriving and demonstrating incredible resilience! We’ve never felt more deeply in love.
‘Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster.’

In March, Jesy found herself requiring an urgent medical procedure due to complications arising, and she was strongly suggested by medical professionals to stay in the hospital until she had reached at least the 32nd week of her pregnancy.
During this challenging experience, Zion acknowledged that he and Jesy, who was seven months pregnant during her surgery, had come to comprehend one another on a more profound level.
He shared with them: “It’s during challenging moments like these that the depth of your love and the significance of your relationship become truly apparent.
For me and Jess, this experience has elevated our bond to a completely new dimension, where we feel undeniably compatible.
He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible.
We’ve arranged a convertible couch near the hospital bed, creating a makeshift double bed for ourselves.
Moreover, it appears as if we have settled in. The nurses exclaimed, “Oh, my goodness. This place looks fantastic! It feels so cozy.
The couple revealed Jesy’s TTTS diagnosis in March.

Later on, Jesy cried as she disclosed that her condition required surgery due to the worsening of her symptoms.
She clarified: Regrettably, the symptoms have worsened, necessitating a procedure. Although it’s not the desired outcome, it’s crucial because it increases the chances of our babies surviving optimally.
‘So we’re just waiting to go in and we’re just hoping and praying for the best really.
‘I feel absolutely gutted because I was really hoping we wouldn’t be in this position.
‘It’s obviously really scary because there’s so many things that can happen. Pray for us, please.’
Prof. Asma Khalil, an expert in Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine at St George’s Hospital, University of London, advises families dealing with a similar situation as Nelson and his partner to reach out to the charity Twins Trust for assistance and support.
She stated: ‘TTTS, or Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, is a potentially dangerous situation that impacts around 10 to 15% of identical twins who share the same placenta (referred to as monochorionic twins).’
