As a hardcore Marvel enthusiast with decades of comic book lore under my belt, I must say that the cameo of Thor in Deadpool & Wolverine has left me utterly thrilled! The way they reused footage from Thor: The Dark World was a stroke of genius and it truly blurs the line between reality and fiction.

Chris Hemsworth has responded to Deadpool & Wolverine‘s mysterious scene with Thor.
In the third installment of “Deadpool,” numerous characters from the Marvel universe make appearances, but Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of Thor could be the most captivating.
In a different world, Thor is depicted weeping over Deadpool’s corpse, but Chris Hemsworth didn’t shoot any fresh scenes for the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine“. Instead, the filmmakers creatively edited footage from the movie “Thor: The Dark World” to make it suitable for this particular scene.
Ryan Reynolds playfully commented on the fan speculations surrounding Thor’s emotional appearance, stating on Twitter as Deadpool: “I found out why Thor was crying, and now I can’t stop thinking about it. #DeadpoolAndWolverine”
Hemsworth subsequently replied to Reynolds: “I can keep secrets too.”
Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Deadpool & Wolverine, it was common knowledge among fans that Thor would play a role in the movie.
In June, Hemsworth expressed satisfaction about Thor being mentioned in the multiverse-bending movie, despite not having filmed any new scenes for it.
In an interview with ComicBook, he expressed, “It’s incredibly exciting!” He momentarily forgets and feels, “Wow, neat! I’m associated with the team. They’re discussing me, yet I’m not in the movie. However, being connected to that entire universe is amazingly captivating.”
“I think what makes it all look really cool is the interconnected nature of it.”
The unique bond between Deadpool and Wolverine causes a rippling effect across the Marvel multiverse, ultimately transporting these iconic characters to an unknown realm beyond all recognized Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) realities.
In this empty expanse, Deadpool, also known as the Merc with a Mouth, and Wolverine find themselves engaged in a fight against Cassandra Nova, the estranged sibling of Charles Xavier. They receive aid from characters hailing from various movies such as the X-Men, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, and Blade.
Deadpool & Wolverine is now playing in cinemas.
