Chris Hemsworth lands next lead movie role

On one hand, we have the dreamy Prince Charming in Disney’s new project, which, if done right, could breathe fresh life into a classic character. And on the other, there’s the four-part series, Stuntnuts, where our beloved Thor is set to guest star as himself!
In a thrilling turn of events, Chris Hemsworth will soon embody his most enchanting character to date, stepping into the shoes of the main character in Disney’s upcoming film about Prince Charming.
As reported by Deadline, the acclaimed Thor actor is currently negotiating a role for the legendary character in Disney’s upcoming film, which has been confirmed and will be helmed by Paul King, known for his work on Paddington and Wonka.
Despite Disney remaining silent about Chris Hemsworth’s participation, it appears the project is moving forward in its development phase, with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker joining forces with King as co-writers.
In numerous stories, the character known as Prince Charming is best recognized from Disney’s version of Cinderella. Yet, it seems that the upcoming film may not directly tie into the tale of Cinderella. The specifics of the plot are being kept secret, but rumors suggest this could be the case.
Currently, Hemsworth stars in a four-part film series titled “Stuntnuts“. This story revolves around a team of athletes, each striving to gather resources for the very gym that nurtured them all.
In a surprising twist, the actor is set to make a special appearance, portraying himself, in the initial episode of the series, named “Stuntnuts: The Movie“.
Under the guidance of stunt coordinator Damien Walters, the film features a central team of stunt performers, all of whom are recognizable from the show and have unique nicknames based on nuts.
In the movie’s description, it mentions that they offer their agility from sports and gymnastics to perform as professional stuntpeople.
Previously, the renowned Marvel character graced the role of Optimus Prime in the animated film titled “Transformers: First Strike.
The film delves into the backstory of the franchise, revealing the transformation of comrades-in-arms, Orion Pax/Optimus Prime (Hemsworth), and D-16/Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), from being loyal allies into bitter adversaries.
The first Transformers movie is currently playing in theaters across the U.S., and can also be purchased or rented on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and others.
