Chris Hemsworth discusses ‘complicated times’ in his marriage to Elsa Pataky amid split rumours

Chris Hemsworth has put split rumours to rest after lifting the lid on his marriage to Elsa Pataky.

The Australian actor, married to the Spanish actress since December 2010, says the key to their fifteen-year relationship is simply ‘having fun’.

In a recent interview on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, the 42-year-old shared that he and his wife, Elsa, have maintained a strong marriage by prioritizing adventure and making dedicated time for each other.

He admitted that things get tough when life becomes a constant cycle of work and family responsibilities, and the couple starts to feel disconnected, simply managing logistics instead of nurturing their relationship.

He explained that prioritizing their relationship – creating time for just the two of them and supporting each other – was key to their success, along with sharing laughter.

You often feel an initial connection with someone, but ultimately, a lasting relationship is built on friendship and enjoying each other’s company.

Even though rumors about their breakup keep circulating, Chris and Elsa recently showed they’re still very much together. They were affectionate with each other at a private showing of Chris’s new Disney+ documentary, “A Road to Remember.”

The reunion marked the couple’s first joint red carpet appearance in months.

Chris Hemsworth shared photos on social media with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their family, including his parents, Craig and Leonie Hemsworth, who are 71 and 64 years old respectively.

Chris looked handsome in a brown suit and posed lovingly with his wife, whom he’s been married to for 14 years.

Oh my gosh, you guys, did you SEE Elsa? She looked absolutely breathtaking in this flowy green summer dress, and those silver heels? Seriously stunning! And then Chris put his arm around her waist – it was the cutest thing EVER! I swear, my heart melted. They looked so perfect together, I could barely breathe!

Chris Hemsworth was joined by his brothers, Liam, 35, and Luke, 45, making it a family event on the red carpet.

Chris shared photos on Instagram and included a message honoring his parents, who also appeared in his new movie.

Chris described last night’s private movie showing with family and friends as ‘surreal’ in a social media post.

This project was truly unique, and I’m extremely proud of everything we accomplished.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s support, and especially thankful to my parents, Craig and Leonie, who shared their experiences with such honesty and kindness.

Chris expressed his gratitude to the film’s director, Tom Barbor-Might, and shared a picture of his twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, who are eleven years old.

Their daughter India, 13, did not appear in the photos.

A Road to Remember, a National Geographic documentary, follows Craig’s courageous journey as he lives with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
