The Disney+ series WandaVision established Wanda Maximoff as the Scarlet Witch, a powerful being who wields Chaos Magic and can alter reality. She used her powers to construct an entire alternate reality within Westview, effectively trapping thousands of people and living out a fabricated sitcom life within it.

Okay, so Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness really let Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, go. It was insane! She wasn’t just powerful, she was on another level, hopping between universes in her dreams and taking on multiple versions of sorcerers at once. And the biggest shock? She absolutely wiped out the Illuminati – I mean, Captain Carter, Black Bolt, Reed Richards, Captain Marvel, even Professor X… all gone. It was a brutal display of power, and honestly, a little terrifying.

Looking at their pasts, it’s clear that Wanda has the power to change reality itself, but Thor is strong enough to withstand those changes, unlike most beings.

Many believe Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful characters due to her ability to warp reality, famously shown in the House of M storyline. With just a few words, Wanda was able to strip powers from millions of mutants, proving she could essentially erase threats from existence.

While this might seem like a way to beat Thor, it’s important to remember he wasn’t around during the House of M storyline. He was missing from the Marvel Universe after the events of Ragnarok.

We’ve never explored how a current version of Thor – one with the powerful Thor-Force that can alter reality – would handle a magical curse affecting the entire world.
