Chris Bey and Vikingo injured during TNA tapings in Detroit
As a seasoned wrestling fan who has seen my share of injuries and comebacks, I can’t help but feel a pang of concern for both Chris Bey and El Hijo del Vikingo. Their passion, skill, and dedication to their craft are undeniable, and it’s heartbreaking to see them sidelined due to injury.
On October 27, during the TNA tapings held in Detroit, Michigan, both Chris Bey and Vikingo sustained severe injuries.
Initially, El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a heavy blow during his bout against Trent Seven. Known for his acrobatic skills, Vikingo attempted a corkscrew move on Seven outside the ring. Upon impact with the ground, he was seen clutching his leg in pain. The referee halted the match and signaled an “X” to indicate an injury. Subsequently, he was carried off on a stretcher. As of now, there’s no update about the nature of his injury.
Shortly afterward, Chris Bey sustained an injury during the performance. In a bout with The Hardy Boyz, Bey fell and remained motionless in the ring. Consequently, the match and the entire event were abruptly halted. Witnesses reported that Bey was responsive as he was carried out of the ring on a stretcher. However, the post-show gathering for fans persisted after the event had ended.
On Monday, October 28th, several media personnel and wrestlers voiced their backing for Chris Bey.
Wishing Chris Bey all the very best, as I’ve heard he had surgery and is currently on the road to recovery,” (paraphrased by me)
Sending our best to Chris Bey. We’ve heard he underwent surgery and is recovering.

Simon Miller shared on Twitter, ‘Dude, Chris Bey is just amazing! Not only is he incredibly skilled, but he always takes the time to assist everyone. He’s so gracious with his advice and feedback. I truly hope he recovers quickly.’

From my gaming perspective, so far, there’s been no official word about any injuries within the TNA Wrestling community over social media. The specifics about any potential injuries seem to be under wraps for now.
