Chopper and Vivi One Piece movies to leave Netflix next month
These two classic One Piece movies may leave the platform on Feb. 15.
Starting February 15th, fans who enjoy the One Piece films focusing on Vivi and Chopper’s background stories won’t find these movies on Netflix, as reported by What’s On Netflix.
One Piece movies to leave Netflix in February
The following two films, “The Desert Princess and the Pirates in Alabasta: Episode” and “Episode of Chopper: Winter’s Bloom, Miracle Sakura,” are scheduled for removal from the streaming service. As reported by What’s On Netflix, this change will take effect starting February 15th. Therefore, Netflix subscribers have a few weeks left to catch or re-watch these films before they disappear.
Vivi and Chopper in One Piece
These films stand out due to their central focus on two cherished characters from the One Piece series – Vivi, who is none other than the princess of Alabasta, and one who once disguised herself as “Miss Wednesday” while working covertly within Baroque Works.
In time, she joined forces with the Strawhat Pirates to confront Sir Crocodile and safeguard her nation. To this day, her emotional goodbye with the crew remains etched in memory; each member bore a distinctive “X” mark on their arm as a testament to their unity and friendship with her.
In the meantime, Chopper serves as the physician for the Straw Hat pirate crew. Originally a blue-nosed young reindeer, he felt even more isolated following his consumption of the Hito Hito no Mi Devil Fruit, which changed him into a half-human, half-reindeer being. Later on, Dr. Kureha and Hiriluk took him under their wing, after Hiriluk saved Chopper’s life.
Over time, Hiriluk’s health grew worse, causing Chopper to search for a remedy. Unfortunately, Chopper administered a poisonous mushroom to Hiriluk, but he appreciated Chopper’s sincere intentions by giving him a heartfelt hug. In his last moments, Hiriluk passed on his knowledge of genuine medicine to Chopper. Additionally, Hiriluk’s research focused on bringing cherry blossoms to the icy Drum Island, which was later named “Sakura Kingdom” in his honor. This was due to Kureha honoring both Hiriluk’s final wish and his contributions to the island.
Despite the fact that these two One Piece movies might be removed from Netflix on February 15, fans of the series can continue enjoying other One Piece content by tuning into the live-action series. Additionally, for those who prefer the manga or anime, there are approximately 1,000 chapters and episodes to explore and catch up on.
