As a devoted fan who has followed Chloe Madeley and James Haskell’s journey since their reality TV days, I can’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for the former power couple. Their split after five years of marriage, following a decade together, was a shock to many, including myself. However, I have to admit that I admire Chloe’s unwavering support for James amidst the negative comments thrown his way by some fans.

They announced their split in October 2023, after a decade together and five years of marriage.

Yet Chloe Madeley has defended James Haskell after some fans have continued to bad mouth him.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘There’s kind of like a heavy insinuation that he’s not a nice guy.

Based on my personal experiences, I have learned that going through tough times with someone, like a partner, can be challenging and even straining at times. However, what truly matters is how we navigate those struggles and come out stronger on the other side. In our case, despite facing battles as James and I did, we’ve managed to co-parent effectively, demonstrating resilience and understanding. I firmly believe that half of the credit for our successful coparenting goes to him, as he has played an essential role in maintaining a harmonious environment for our children.

‘I want him to have some of that respect from people, which I don’t see him getting.’

The well-known fitness expert and ex-rugby player James, aged 38, who tied the knot with Chloe in 2018 and have a daughter named Bodhi approaching two years old, sparked separation rumors when Chloe was seen without her wedding ring while socializing with friends. This occurred not long after pictures surfaced of James conversing with an unidentified blonde woman outside a London club.

The pair confirmed they had split in a joint statement released in October.

In the throes of unwavering fandom, “I, a devoted fan, was taken aback by the heartfelt announcement made by Chloe Madeley and her partner, back in September 2023. They graced our screens as the starring couple on ITV’s ‘Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair’, but now they’ve chosen to walk separate paths.”

Initially, we didn’t intend to issue a statement right now, especially during the broadcast of our TV show. However, persistent rumors about our marriage have compelled us to address the situation.

As a die-hard fan, I’m here to share what she mentioned: “Beyond this sentence, there won’t be any public discussions on this topic from our side. We kindly ask for your understanding and respect as we seek privacy during these times.”

Presently, all our attention is devoted to our charming little girl. Moving forward, we will nurture her growth together, guided only by love.

On Instagram, James expressed his feelings by saying, “I write this post with a heavy heart, as difficult as it is, it must be done in today’s world.”

My main concern lies in ensuring the happiness, safety, and well-being of my daughter and Chloe. With this in mind, I choose not to make any additional comments at this time.

As a seasoned observer of human relationships and someone who has been through a messy divorce myself, I can empathize with Chloe’s emotional turmoil when she described her separation from her estranged husband as “f***ing awful.” Divorce is never easy, especially when it comes to dealing with the complexities of a broken relationship. The raw honesty in her words resonated with me, and I appreciate her courage to share her feelings with the world. It takes a lot of strength to open up about such personal matters, and I admire Chloe for speaking out. Her story serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity, one can find the resilience to move forward.

Chloe confessed that the duo had parted ways since they both felt their connection was becoming increasingly ‘unpleasant’ and ‘disheartening’.

In their residence in north London, the pair continues to reside together, frequently seen out and about with Bodhi, aiming to keep their separation as cordial as possible for their young daughter’s sake.

Although some fans speculate their reunion due to recent events, Chloe clarified that both individuals have already moved forward in their lives. She even expressed her belief that the ex-England player will find a new partner soon.

She said: ‘It’ll probably happen for James long before it happens to me, if it hasn’t already.

‘I’m waiting for the conversation to happen at some point.’
