ChillyRoom announced that their new 2D action roguelike platformer RPG, PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer, will be available on Android and iOS starting November 26th. The game was previously tested in the Philippines and Malaysia, and players can now pre-register worldwide.

ChillyRoom is launching a new game called PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer! It’s a fast-paced 2D action game with roguelike elements, meaning each playthrough is different. You’ll explore a dark, post-apocalyptic world with a unique sci-fi style, choosing from a variety of characters called Platyguards to fight through hordes of enemies.

In this game, you’ll investigate the mystery of the Hive Scourge while trying to survive a world-ending apocalypse and fend off mutant attacks. What makes it really enjoyable is the fast-paced combat – stringing together powerful combos, perfectly timed blocks, skillful dodging, and unleashing charged attacks. Plus, there’s a huge variety of skills and items to help you along the way. I personally find this type of game very appealing.

Okay, so the Platyguards are seriously cool. Each one plays so differently, and I love that I can pick from stuff like samurai, ninjas, and other unique classes. Plus, being able to build up an army, sling some powerful spells, or even call down lightning while fighting across six different stages? That’s what really grabbed me and makes me want to dive in!

ChillyRoom’s new game is shaping up to be a really enjoyable and exciting experience. It features constantly evolving battles, shifting environments, tons of customization options, a diverse cast of characters and ways to play, plus a huge variety of monsters and challenging bosses. Hopefully, the final product lives up to its potential.
