Chicago PD Season 12 release schedule: Don't miss a beat of the new season on NBC

As a die-hard fan of Chicago PD, I eagerly await each new episode like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. The drama, the suspense, the twists and turns – it’s a rollercoaster ride that never fails to leave me on the edge of my seat.

Television shows for the fall season have begun airing. The series “Chicago PD” is one of them that recently made its comeback, undoubtedly catching your attention right away.

In the latest installment, there was plenty happening. If you’ve yet to catch up, don’t fret – no spoilers from us! Instead, let me offer a quick summary of what you might expect.

In the latest installment, we find ourselves a month following the climax of Season 11, which means Hank Voight is still grappling with his near-death experience, while Intelligence is mourning the departure of yet another teammate. Upton’s gone now, and a new recruit has joined the squad.

When will Chicago PD Season 12 air new episodes on NBC?

Don’t skip a moment of the upcoming episodes as they unfold Kiana’s integration with the team, hint at a budding romance for Kevin Atwater, and leave you on the edge of your seat with anticipation for Burgess and Ruzek’s wedding. Here’s hoping they buck the trend and manage to make their relationship work!

The shows are scheduled to be broadcast every Wednesday at 10 PM Eastern/Pacific Time on NBC. The following episode is set to air on October 2nd (Wednesday).

Should you miss watching episodes as they air live, NBC has conveniently arranged for you to catch up later. All you’ll need is access to Peacock, and the episodes will be ready for viewing starting Thursdays at 6 a.m. Eastern Time or 3 a.m. Pacific Time.

When will the Chicago PD break take place?

Indeed, we’ll have a brief pause in the programming soon. As per tradition, we often take a break around the time of Thanksgiving. Typically, the show takes a week off during Thanksgiving and then returns for another week before going on its winter hiatus. However, it’s uncertain if NBC will follow this pattern this year.

As a devoted viewer, I’m looking forward to my regular routine with Chicago PD next year, much like flipping a switch on and off. Unlike the number of episodes, there are more weeks in the new year, thankfully! At least we can rest assured that Season 12 will consist of a full season run.
