As a long-time fan of Cheryl and One Direction, this heartbreaking news has left me utterly devastated. I can only imagine the pain that Cheryl must be feeling, losing not just a partner, but also the father of her child, Bear. The bond between parents and children is sacred, and I can’t fathom the anguish of a seven-year-old boy growing up without his dad.

Cheryl is deeply saddened by the demise of her ex-partner, Liam Payne, and is struggling to accept that their young son, Bear, won’t have a chance to know him as he grows up.

On a hump day, the 41-year-old vocalist paid her respects at Liam’s funeral held at St Mary’s Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Her fellow bandmates from Girls Aloud, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, were there to offer their support during this difficult time.

According to the source, she is deeply saddened. Her personal sorrow is compounded by the fact that her young son will never get to see his father again, which is truly heart-wrenching.

‘While she and Liam split a long time ago, they were bonded over their love of Bear.

Liam met an incredibly tragic end, yet his family wished to commemorate him in the most ideal manner conceivable.

At a deeply emotional, exclusive gathering filled with loved ones and notable figures from both the music and sports industry, Cheryl walked solemnly behind her former partner’s casket.

In somber, funereal attire were Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan – the four guys who, like Liam, had spent their childhood years and experienced fame together.

Tragically, Liam met his end following a fall of approximately 45 feet from a balcony on the third floor of the CasaSur Palmero Hotel in Argentina.

Last month, Cheryl paid tribute to Liam in an Instagram post and spoke of her ‘indescribable pain’ over telling Bear his father had passed away.

“I’m struggling to cope with this incredibly devastating situation and dealing with my personal sorrow during this extremely difficult period.

‘I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being.

Apart from being a famous pop star and celebrity, Liam was also a loving son, brother, uncle, cherished friend, and devoted father to our seven-year-old child.

‘A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again.’

They first encountered each other on a popular talent competition back in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2016 that their relationship started.

In that particular year, they publicly appeared for the first time on the red carpet at Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Gala held in Paris. Notably, Payne commemorated Cheryl by getting a tattoo of her eye on his arm as a tribute to her.

22nd March, 2017 saw the birth of a beautiful, healthy baby boy, who resembled a dream, to the singer from Girls Aloud and her partner Liam. They expressed this joy on Instagram by saying: ‘We are now proud parents!’

However a year later in July, Cheryl and Liam announced their split.

Towards the end of her remarks, Cheryl politely asked everyone, including the press, to allow Liam some remaining respect or decency.

She continued: ‘What is troubling my spirit the most is that one day Bear will have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation we have seen in the past two days.

‘It is breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in the future.

Could you please think about the purpose these reports seem to be serving, apart from potentially causing more distress for those who are left to clean up the aftermath?

Consider pondering over whether something is suitable for a young family member or your own child before posting comments or creating videos.

Could you ensure that Liam is allowed some tranquility and respect, given the circumstances of his passing?

After the woman with a child shared her statement, her close friends Kimberley and Nicola reshared it on their social platforms using broken heart symbols.

The two friends have been supporting Cheryl since Liam’s passing, according to The Sun.

On Wednesday, they made clear their sympathy by being some of the earliest attendees at Liam’s funeral service.
