Cher’s Son: Wife’s SHOCKING Accusations!

In September 2023, a photograph emerged of Elijah Blue Allman, Cher’s son, appearing barefoot and slouched in the lobby of the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. This image led some to believe that he had unfortunately reached his lowest point.

At the stated time, concerned bystanders informed The Daily Mail that hotel personnel discovered Allman, a man known for his battles with substance abuse, unconscious and facing downward on the sidewalk outside the establishment.

One observer commented that he appeared as if he were already deceased due to his state. A few days afterward, it was stated that he was taken to a recovery center situated in Pasadena, California.

By August 2024, Derek Allman, aged 48 (son of renowned musician Gregg Allman from The Allman Brothers Band), reappeared at the Chateau. He was spotted consuming alcohol and adorning peculiar robe attire reminiscent of vestments.

Currently, those around him are worried that he might be treading on a similar ominous path once more, given that his spouse, Marieangela King (aged 37), is said to have filed for separation.

According to reports shared with The Daily Mail, it’s said that King thinks Allman has violated his sobriety, and surprisingly, she attributes a significant portion of the issues to Cher, who is 78 years old.

They stated that Angela has given Elijah numerous opportunities, but she will never again be overlooked. After trusting him to remain sober, she now doubts his commitment to this change.

On April 7, King initiated a divorce from Allman, stating ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason. The court filings also revealed that King is seeking $6,000 per month in spousal support and exclusive ownership of their 2017 Toyota Prius, as reported by the Daily Mail.

For a while, their relationship has been marked by ups and downs. In fact, Allman once sought a divorce back in 2021, but eventually decided to reconcile with King and withdraw the petition in 2024. However, those who know her claim that this time, King is finished for good – and she’s accusing someone.

The source stated candidly that Cher significantly influenced [King’s] choice to distance himself from this negativity. According to them, Cher is perceived as being responsible for most of [King’s] troubles.

As long as her mother-in-law lives, she’ll only bring trouble, and Marieangela is tired of her, tired of him, and just plain fed up with the whole situation, they concluded.

Neither Cher’s nor Allman’s representatives have responded to the Daily Mail regarding comments on this particular article.

This is simply the most recent escalation in a longstanding, acrimonious dispute between King and Cher, which appears to have originated following King’s engagement to Allman back in December 2013.

At that point, it is reported that Cher did not offer her congratulations to the couple. In an interview with the Daily Mail in February 2014, regarding the friction between his mother and King, Allman explained: ‘You have two powerful women, two large bulls in a pen. I believe there’s a level of respect, and they occasionally clash heads.’

Since then, the situation appears to have only worsened.

In November 2022, according to court documents pertaining to her then-ongoing divorce with Allman, King alleged that Cher had arranged for four individuals to intervene in a New York City hotel where she and Elijah were residing, with the intention of facilitating a separation between them as they attempted to reconcile.

According to the documents, King claimed that one of the men mentioned they were employed by Cher and subsequently escorted Allman to a secret rehabilitation facility to address his addiction problems.

Four days following the reported event, King stated in his declaration, “At this moment, I have no knowledge about my husband’s condition or location.

At that point, Cher firmly dismissed the allegation that she had hired people to seize her son, stating clearly to PEOPLE, “That story isn’t accurate.” Notably, no criminal accusations were ever brought forth in this matter.

However, by December 2023, it was reported that Cher had requested a temporary guardianship for her son due to concerns about his previous drug issues and possible deteriorating psychological well-being.

Allman has opened up about his issues with drugs and alcohol before.

In 2014, he surprisingly confessed to Entertainment Tonight that he began experimenting with substances like marijuana and ecstasy, just as many of us did, at the age of 11. Later, he moved on to harder drugs such as heroin and opiate painkillers.

At the age of seven, he was placed in a boarding school. From that point onwards, there were times when his relationship with Cher became strained.

In 2014, he shared with the Daily Mail that she’s had challenging times, and he acknowledges her efforts. However, he pointed out that her remarkable celebrity status complicates the process of parenthood for her.

He stated, “I believe she is well aware of it and has accepted it. It’s something that deeply regrets her, and it undoubtedly lingers in her mind.” He also assured, “Her intentions have been sincere.

‘It’ll be mended because it has to be, it will just take time,’ he added.

2014 court documents revealed that Cher stated she couldn’t handle the yearly income of $120,000 from a trust fund her father established before passing away in 2017. She also expressed concern that her son might use his $30,000 quarterly allowance on drugs, potentially endangering his life.

In her legal documents, Cher criticized King, stating that their relationship has been characterized by a recurring pattern involving substance abuse issues and mental health struggles.

She asserted that King hasn’t shown ‘consistent encouragement for Elijah’s healing process, instead, has taken actions aimed at preventing Elijah from achieving sobriety, rehabilitation, and essential mental health care which he urgently requires.’

Allman and King fought Cher’s request for conservatorship.

In his court filing, Allman stated that he was fine on his own without needing the assistance his mother had offered. (Daily Mail observed this statement at the time)

He noted, “For quite some time now, my connection with my mother has been tense.” He also mentioned, “She’s currently 77 years old. In the past, I’ve witnessed her struggle with depression. Based on this history, I don’t think she possesses the ability to make sound decisions regarding my estate.

King additionally submitted a reply, focusing particularly on Cher, where he stated: “In my observation, individuals related to Elijah can serve as emotional triggers for him. I’ve seen and felt aggressive actions predominantly stemming from Elijah’s mother.

It’s essential that Elija is surrounded by individuals who are sober, specifically those affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), as most of his family members do not belong to this group.

In September 2024, the prolonged disagreement between Cher and Allman finally concluded with a private accord. Cher graciously withdrew her application for conservatorship after they reached an agreement. Regrettably, it appears that their past problems have resurfaced once more.
