Cher’s son Chaz Bono is ‘very concerned’ about her romance with admitted cheater AE

As a seasoned observer of Hollywood’s rollercoaster love stories, I find myself intrigued by Cher’s latest romance with AE. With a career spanning six decades and relationships that read like a who’s who of Tinseltown, it seems that the Goddess of Pop has found yet another man to captivate her heart.

It seems Cher’s loved ones are struggling to find a solution regarding her relationship with Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, as sources suggest that they’ve repeatedly advised her, but to no avail.

For the last two years, the singer from Believe, who is now 78 years old, has been in a relationship with a 38-year-old music executive. However, as time goes by, those close to her have begun to express growing apprehension about their romantic involvement.

According to a reliable insider, Cher’s son Chaz Bono, aged 55, is said to be oblivious of AE’s genuine motives, as AE has been showing multiple warning signs.

They added that fears were exacerbated after Cher revealed back in May that she is collaborating with AE on an album.

A source close to the situation revealed to DailyMail.com that Cher’s relatives no longer attempt to persuade her that Alexander may not be acting in her best favor.

She asserted that his intentions weren’t about her wealth, but now it appears he’s receiving a substantial sum for this latest album, and she’s granting him the freedom to make creative decisions regarding it.

It was mentioned that additional concern over their relationship arose when it was suggested that Cher might be making changes to her will, potentially including AE.

They went on saying, “She hasn’t acted upon it yet, but she’s seriously thinking about it since she asserts that he is the one she deeply loves.

‘And, if her album is the last album she does it will undoubtedly be a massive success.

‘When she passes, this gives AE all of the profits for it and he is set for life. Huge red flag.’

Speaking on The Tonight Show to publicize her recent memoir titled “Cher, The Memoir: Part One,” the artist who unveiled a greatest hits collection called “Forever” this year, shared insights about an upcoming album.

Host Jimmy Fallon asked: ‘Could there be another album? Would you do another one?’

Cher confirmed: ‘I’m about to.’ 

At the June amfAR Cannes Gala in 2024, it seemed as though Cher tacitly approved of AE’s fight with Travis Scott, following their physical dispute.

She posted on Instagram after the event, “I’m so proud of Alexander. Instead of initiating a brawl with two men, he was the one who ended it. You’ve got to admire him.

According to the source, Cher’s stance on the situation also sparked concern for her family.

They expressed deep worry when she supported his involvement in the fight with Travis Scott, as they perceived her actions as endorsing his aggressive behavior.

A representative for Cher denied that such concerns about her relationship exist. 

In November 2022, it became public knowledge that Cher was in a relationship with AE after she shared an Instagram post showing them, an unexpected pairing, holding hands at two popular spots in Los Angeles, as captured by photographers.

In an update on Twitter, the renowned vocalist made a brief announcement using just the word ‘Alexander’ accompanied by a heart symbol.

As an over-the-moon admirer, when someone inquired if AE was my new beau, I didn’t back off – instead, I responded with a double dose of heart emojis and the profound words, “Love knows no numbers.

The following month Cher talked about her hot new romance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

She remarked, “On the surface, it seems quite improbable, but in practice, things work wonderfully well between us. He truly is extraordinary, and I only attribute positive traits to individuals who genuinely earn them.

On the first day of the new year, she showcased a dazzling diamond ornament on her social media platforms (from AE), leading many to speculate that it might be an engagement ring.

Despite the apparent success of Cher and AE’s current relationship, his past relationship with Amber Rose, the mother of his 4-year-old son named Slash Electric, didn’t turn out as smoothly.

Following three years together, Amber publicly announced the termination of their relationship by posting a harsh message on social media, which revealed accusations of his suspected unfaithfulness.

The significant figure expressed: ‘I’ve had enough of secret betrayals and the resulting humiliation.’

Over the years, Cher has endured a fair amount of heartache. This journey began when she crossed paths with Sonny Bono, who would later become her husband, at just 16 years old while he was 27.

They married in 1964 and formed the band Sonny & Cher, which catapulted them both to superstardom.

Ten years later, she filed for divorce. 

During an interview with Parade Magazine, Cher stated that his unfaithfulness was the primary reason for their separation.

She said: ‘Stardom made Sonny a huge womanizer. One woman, or even five, was not enough for him.

Initially, I placed my trust and loyalty in him. To be honest, I now find myself questioning whether our decision to marry was the right one.

After her divorce from Sonny, who tragically passed away while skiing with his family in South Dakota in January 1998, Cher subsequently dated several prominent male celebrities.

Cher dated David Geffen from 1974 until 1975. He later came out as gay.

In the very same year, she was romantically involved with Gregg Allman, who is the father of her son Elijah Blue Allman, now aged 46.

The two were married for three years until their divorce in 1978.

For a period of two years, Cher was romantically involved with the musician Gene Simmons from the band Kiss. Following that, she dated Val Kilmer, an actor, from 1982 to 1984. It’s important to note that Val Kilmer is 14 years younger than Cher.

The Strong Enough singer admitted that Kilmer was the only man that has ever left her.

In a conversation with Howard Stern, when he inquired about anyone being able to leave her, she responded, “Not many men, not many men. To be honest, I was deeply in love with Val Kilmer, and he chose to move on.

In 1985, Cher dated Tom Cruise, who was 16 years her junior at the time.

For approximately several coming decades, the vocalist was involved in multiple relationships with men who were not widely recognized, among them being Rob Camilletti, a bagel shop worker; Tim Medvetz, a former Hells Angel member; and Ron Zimmerman, a writer for television. These relationships concluded in 2012.

After Cher’s split with Ron, she remained single for a decade until falling for AE.
