In the movie project, her involvement highlights her dedication to helping her kids’ pursuits, but the storyline strangely resonates with the hardships she’s currently experiencing regarding her troubled young son, Elijah Blue Allman, as DailyMail.com uncovers.

The movie is incredibly unusual, yet delightfully so. Family sources informed DailyMail.com that Cher deeply cares for Chaz and felt strongly about supporting his endeavor, which is why she agreed to participate.

According to the source, it’s meant as a symbol of the extent a mother might go to protect her kids, yet interestingly enough, this mirrors the measures Cher has taken in assisting Elijah.

Last year, the renowned pop artist found herself embroiled in a high-profile legal dispute with Allman, aged 48, over her efforts to establish a conservatorship for him, given his struggles with substance abuse problems.

According to DailyMail.com, when Cher’s son collapsed at LA’s renowned Chateau Marmont Hotel in September 2023, she took immediate and significant actions to help him.

After approximately a year, the lengthy legal dispute between the two parties was resolved when they managed to reach an understanding and Cher chose to withdraw her application for a conservatorship in the Superior Court of Los Angeles.

Now, offering some promising new developments, it appears that Elijah’s bond with his mother has been strengthening lately, which seems to have positively impacted his well-being as well.

According to the source, their relationship has improved compared to its previous state, although it’s not perfect. However, as Cher stated, she is willing to go to any lengths for her children.

She acknowledges that she wasn’t an ideal parent during Elijah’s childhood, but she’s striving hard to make amends for it now.

For the first time in months, the musician who is Greg Allman’s son has been seen in public with his wife, Marieangela ‘Queeny’ King.

DailyMail.com exclusively shares photographs of the two parked outside King’s black Prius, which is situated at the Chateau, during the month of mid-January.

Elijah has endured rocky times in his marriage as well as with his mother in recent years. 

For approximately half a year, he’d been away from his spouse, who is the front-woman of the band KING, residing in a hotel. In September 2023, he was discovered in a state of drug overdose.

However, as reported by a close family acquaintance, the lead singer of Deadsy has maintained a clean path since getting assistance, and his marriage remains robust and solid.

Elijah has remained sober for an extended period, dedicating himself to his wellness and mental health, while Queeny has been keeping active, publicizing her forthcoming movie titled ‘The Spiritualization of Jeff Boyd.’ The source reveals that she is also contributing a track to it, named ‘Freak.’

Their bond has never been stronger. Through thick and thin, they’ve managed to deepen their affection and respect for one another.

Cher has stated in legal records that she doesn’t believe her daughter-in-law, Queeny, is suitable to be her son’s conservator due to their strained relationship, characterized by a recurring pattern of substance abuse issues and mental health struggles. However, Queeny, who is 37 years old, vehemently refutes these claims.

2020 saw them part ways as Allman filed for divorce in 2021, but by 2024, he had withdrawn these divorce proceedings.

In a court document filed on December 5, 2022, Queeny alleged that Cher employed four individuals to forcibly take Allman away from a hotel in New York City, as a last-ditch effort to prevent their reconciliation.

Eventually, the British singer managed to help her husband leave a challenging lockdown-like facility in Mexico, which his mother had arranged with elements of rehabilitation.

Previously, Cher openly acknowledged that being a mother wasn’t always straightforward for her, particularly due to her demanding schedule which frequently separated her from her two children during her years as a young, single parent.

Now she has been trying to make it up with both Chaz and Elijah.

In a touching gesture, the renowned celebrity began the first section of her smash-hit memoir “Cher: My Story” by dedicating it to all parties involved, acknowledging in one chapter that due to her demanding workload, she was often absent.

In her memoir, Cher refers to her firstborn son as Chas, a name he was known by during the time period discussed in the book. Chaz has given his approval for this naming convention. When we reach the relevant section in the next volume, she will refer to him as Chaz again.

Chas is short for Chaz’s birth name Chastity. 

While she was expecting Elijah, Cher understood that there would be time limitations while writing her memoir: “I realized I was pregnant once more…placing my hands gently on my belly, I sighed deeply and uttered, ‘You need to find your way here without assistance; I can’t afford to pause.’ I recognized that I wouldn’t be able to halt my work to facilitate this child’s arrival.

In the course of their tumultuous relationship, it was her second time expecting a child with Allman, and they had chosen to terminate the pregnancy at an early stage.

She famously packed Elijah off to boarding school when he was just eight. 

The source disclosed that Cher believed she was making the right decision by enrolling Elijah in boarding school so early on. However, it’s an action she now wishes she hadn’t taken.

‘However her attempts at saving him now as an adult have pretty much backfired.’

The friend put it simply: The bond between the mother and son has been far from simple.
