Check Out Zion Williamson’s Unreleased ‘Naruto’ Air Jordan 1 Utility Prototype

Summary

  • The unreleased Naruto x Air Jordan 1 Utility Sample, designed with Zion Williamson, pays tribute to the Hidden Leaf Village with military-inspired elements
  • Featuring stash pockets, zippers, and a Konohagakure heel plate, it blends function and anime aesthetics

A never-before-seen prototype of an Air Jordan 1 High Utility shoe has made an appearance. This particular shoe is a joint project between Zion Williamson and the Jordan Brand, initially conceptualized as a homage to the popular animated series, Naruto.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but admire the sneaker modeled after the Air Jordan 1 High Utility Stash. This shoe pays homage to the Hidden Leaf Village with its military-inspired details like pockets, zippers, and a detachable pouch. The olive green, black suede, and navy blue colors echo the style of top-tier ninjas, while mesh underlays and tongue designs inspired by “Naruto Shippuden” add subtle touches that any Narutist would appreciate.

The sneaker boasted extra details that strengthened its link to the Naruto universe. A Konohagakure badge was carefully attached to the heel, and an eye-catching red Uzumaki spiral graced the insole, making it a coveted collectible. Although it had a distinctive style and broad appeal due to its cultural crossover, this Naruto x Air Jordan 1 Utility Sample never hit the market, instead becoming a precious prototype only within the sneaker community.
