Released on home video between The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions in 2003, The Animatrix gained critical and audience praise alike.

The anime collection enriches the background information established in the live-action Matrix movies, such as the origin of the villainous machines and their catastrophic rise to power, depicted in ‘The Second Renaissance Part 1’ and ‘Part 2’. As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that just like how “The Animatrix” revisited beloved characters Neo and Trinity, the upcoming series of “Predator” also holds the potential to resurrect characters from live-action films. After a hiatus of 38 years, Arnold Schwarzenegger might make a comeback as Dutch in the new Predator saga, lending his voice to the character in an exciting revival. The blend of animation and anthological storytelling in this franchise expands its universe, offering countless possibilities for the “Predator” series to explore moving forward.
