As a film enthusiast with a soft spot for anything related to Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, I must admit that these latest action figures from Diamond Select Toys have truly piqued my interest. Having spent countless hours immersed in the richly detailed world of Westeros, the prospect of bringing a piece of it home is nothing short of exhilarating.

As a devoted fan, I eagerly await the next installment of “House of the Dragon,” the enthralling prequel series from HBO’s Game of Thrones universe. Unfortunately, we may have to endure the long wait until at least 2026 for another season. In the meantime, why not indulge in a bit of Targaryen-themed fun? I’ve found great joy in collecting and playing with House of the Dragon toys that bring the world of Westeros right into my own home.

Companies such as Diamond Select Toys cater to a wide range of interests, producing action figures based on characters from various series, including “Game of Thrones” and the upcoming “House of the Dragon”. Today, we’re thrilled to unveil some exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming toys inspired by prominent characters from “House of the Dragon”.

We’ll kick things off by discussing Daemon Targaryen, the King of the Narrow Sea, an unsettled dreamer, and the complex spouse of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. The latest Daemon figurine, scaled at 1/10th, boasts more than 16 joints for movement (I suspect this means you can bend his limbs as much as you desire), and it comes equipped with additional items such as a dragon egg nestled within a brazier. Coming next is an action figure inspired by the knight Ser Criston Cole from the Kingsguard, who has been tarnished. This figure stands at 1/10 scale and offers more than 16 movable joints. In conclusion, Diamond Select Toys is taking action to create a figure based on Ser Harrold Westerling, the Knight of the Kingsguard who resigned from the Small Council during the first season instead of obeying Lord Otto Hightower’s command to assassinate Rhaenyra.

Intriguingly, actor Graham McTavish, known for his role in “House of the Dragon”, has suggested that his character may return for the third season of the show following his absence during the second. So, what has his character been up to during this gap? Let’s create a story around the action figure of his character.
