The reality star, 31, has been with the rugby league player, 32, for eight years but was left mortified after finding out two weeks ago he had sent intimate texts to another woman.
Charlotte recently shared that she’s anticipating the arrival of their third child with Matthew. She mentioned that having another baby could potentially help him become an even better person.
Sharing the latest developments, they informed The Mirror, “It’s been quite a tumultuous period… truly challenging, enduring pain, sorrow, and pregnancy all at once.”
She added: “Noah kept asking about Daddy, and I’m aiming for a stable home environment for my children. I want to choose what’s best for them. Matthew promises to put all his efforts into making things right. However, I haven’t decided about the fate of our engagement just yet. He needs to bring about some changes first.”

A few short days ago, Charlotte vividly remembered the heart-wrenching instant when she discovered that her fiancé, Matthew, was engaged in explicit texting with another woman.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share this heartrending tale: Two boys, three-year-old Noah and one-year-old Jude, make up the cherished family of my beloved idol. One fateful day, as she was strolling towards her rendezvous with Matthew at the barbershop, her phone buzzed with a call from her manager. The news that trickled through the line, a shocking revelation of his deceit, left her reeling.
She declared that everything she knew seemed to shatter, leaving her utterly stunned. She felt a profound mix of shock, pain, and disillusionment. It appeared his relatives were equally taken aback by the situation.
The reality star said she sat there shaking unable to get through to her mum and sister on the phone. Meanwhile, Charlotte’s manager rang Matthew to tell him the news.
She remembered: ‘He called me and asked, “Could we talk?” I responded, “I’ve had enough.” He admitted he was intoxicated and pleaded with me not to abandon him.’
It came to light that Matthew knew the blonde woman because they were both part of a rugby team, and her former partner was one of his teammates. They had been in touch via Instagram.
She said: ‘I’ve seen the message they’re not nice, it really hurt’.
The mother-of-two admitted their relationship has been strained for the past two years.
She mentioned: ‘Our bond has been strained over the last two years, yet that doesn’t diminish responsibility. The arrival of children signifies continuation within the relationship. For some time now, it hasn’t been going well.’
