Charlotte Crosby’s disaster Dubai holiday takes another turn as she reveals she’s back in hospital for fiancé Jake Ankers after she had three day stay due to nasty chest infection

Charlotte Crosby’s Dubai vacation has hit a snag, as her fiancé, Jake Ankers, required hospital treatment.

The 35-year-old reality TV star recently spent three days in the hospital with a chest infection, and had to return when a minor scrape on Jake’s leg turned into an infection.

Charlotte shared on Instagram that she and Jake were back at the doctor’s office. Jake injured his leg during a football game while on vacation in the Maldives, and it’s now become infected. She said the situation was unbelievably frustrating.

I feel bad for laughing, he’s clearly hurting! But seriously, I’ve been in this hospital for three days now, and all I’ve seen are children who’ve had accidents. It’s just us adults dealing with something else entirely, isn’t it?

Charlotte continued, describing the injury as having a red, raised area around the scrape, with pus, swelling, and warmth.

Before heading to Dubai with their daughters, Alba, three, and Pixi, eleven months old, the TV personality and Jake took a trip to the Maldives.

But Charlotte became sick on the last day and feeling ‘so weak’, before having to go to hospital.

She shared on her Stories that it was their last day in the Maldives, but she’d been feeling very sick and weak, with a lot of vomiting.

I managed to go on a dolphin watching trip this morning, even though I wasn’t feeling great, but unfortunately we didn’t spot any dolphins. I was really looking forward to it, especially for Alba, and I’m disappointed, but hopefully we’ll have better luck next time!

As a lifestyle expert, I always say life can throw you curveballs, and that’s exactly what happened to Charlotte. Things were already tough, but then her health really took a turn. She ended up sharing a photo from a hospital bed, wearing an oxygen mask, and honestly, her caption – ‘Well this wasn’t on my bingo card’ – perfectly summed up how unexpected and upsetting it all was.

Charlotte shared a health update with her followers on Thursday, saying she’s feeling much better after starting antibiotics. She’s been taking the medication for three days and is hoping to be cough-free when she goes to bed.

Charlotte and Jake tried to appear cheerful as they went to dinner with their daughters and Letitia, Charlotte’s mother.

The TV personality later shared some photos from their recent time together on Instagram, saying, ‘Here are some pictures since my mom came to visit. The last few days have definitely been busy!’

Even though she recently enjoyed a lavish vacation, the reality TV star revealed she and her fiancé, Jake, have had to postpone their 2026 wedding because they can’t currently afford the wedding of her dreams.

She explained to The Sun that the wedding is on hold because she wants to save up for a lavish wish list. She estimates they’ll be able to tie the knot around the end of 2027.

This is my wedding, and I want it to be amazing! You only live once, so I’m planning a really big celebration – I’m even thinking of changing outfits three times!
