Charlotte Crosby reveals she’s jetting to the Maldives again for Christmas despite £300,000 debts after admitting money woes forced her to postpone her wedding

Charlotte Crosby is planning a luxurious Christmas vacation to the Maldives with her family, even though she recently shared that she owes £300,000.

Charlotte Crosby, 35, recently revealed she and her fiancé Jake Ankers have had to postpone their wedding, originally planned for 2026, because they can’t currently afford the wedding of her dreams.

Charlotte recently revealed her family’s exciting Christmas plans: they’re flying to the Maldives on Christmas Day and will have a festive turkey dinner right on the plane!

The celebrity previously treated her family to a luxurious vacation in the Caribbean in 2023, where they stayed at a hotel costing £2,000 a night.

Charlotte announced that her fiancé, Jack, and their daughters, three-year-old Alba and Pixi (who will be one next month), will be with her. She also mentioned she’d like to send her children to private school.

Even though she admitted in September that she was deeply in debt due to investing in her clothing line, this situation still occurred.

Charlotte mentioned they serve turkey on the flight, and she’s experienced it before. She said they really make the flight feel festive around Christmas.

We arrive on the 25th, which means Christmas is pretty much done for us, but Santa usually shows up on a jet ski! After that, we’ll open our gifts.

‘We’ll be there for the New Year’s party – where it all goes off.’

Charlotte recently revealed she’s £300,000 in debt after a clothing brand she launched didn’t succeed.

The popular reality TV star admitted she hadn’t yet made back her initial investment in her business, Pepper Girls Club, and was hoping for future profits to cover her costs.

Charlotte, the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, shared on Instagram that she hadn’t received any of the initial funding she used to launch her business.

Okay, so this brand has a really solid social media presence – over 256,000 followers, which is fantastic! But honestly, as someone who’s seen this happen a lot, a big following doesn’t always equal big profits. The founder, Charlotte, hasn’t been able to recoup her initial investment yet, and that’s a really common struggle for entrepreneurs. It just shows you need more than likes and comments to build a sustainable business – you need those followers to actually buy what you’re selling.

In a recent video, Charlotte openly shared that the biggest challenge with Pepper Girls Club has been the significant amount of money she’s invested in it – and she emphasized that she’s being completely truthful.

I’ve invested around £300,000 into this business over the past eight years, and I haven’t seen any of that money returned.

I’m currently owed money by the company, and I’m okay with that for now. I’d like to start receiving some payments back eventually, but they aren’t in a financial position to do so yet.

Many entrepreneurs have the chance to secure funding, but despite my best efforts, I’ve consistently been rejected by investors.

I recall being at a meeting with a potential investor, and their accountant bluntly told me that my business, Pepper Girls Club, had no chance of succeeding – they said it would only happen ‘when pigs fly’.

Charlotte admitted she’d made a ‘big business mistake’ by ‘spending too much money on photoshoots’.

She revealed that a summer collection shoot in Ibiza saw her splash ‘about 20 grand [£20,000]’.

Despite the challenges, Charlotte is hopeful the business will recover, noting how much it has grown since its beginnings.

As someone who’s observed a lot of successful businesses, what really stands out to me here is growth. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a company build a loyal following – it means you’re doing something right! And that loyalty translates into being able to expand, create more jobs, and really move forward. For me, that’s a huge win – it shows they’re absolutely on the right track.

Charlotte recently revealed she’d like to send her daughters to private school. She also mentioned that she and her husband, Jake, are unsure whether they want to have another child.

In an Instagram Q&A, she admitted they were very conflicted about having another child. While they hadn’t ruled it out entirely, it was a difficult decision.

Like everyone, I’m worried about a few things. First, whether we’ll both be able to maintain our current work schedules. Second, and this is a big one, affordability. I know people will say we can manage, but I want to be honest – we really want our daughters to attend a specific private school we love, and the cost of sending two children there is already a strain. Adding a third would be incredibly difficult financially.

We only have Jake’s maternal grandparents nearby, as his mom and stepdad live in Spain. We don’t have any other family support, and both of our jobs are very demanding with frequent travel.

She later clarified that she hadn’t attended one of these schools. She also explained that while the teaching content is the same in both private and public schools, the main difference is the number of students in each class.

The classes are much smaller, and there are more teachers per class, allowing for more personalized attention to each student. This helps ensure no child is overlooked, which unfortunately happens frequently in traditional schools (based on the experiences of many of my friends who have worked in education for years).

I’m really worried about bullying – it seems to be happening everywhere. Because of who I am, it feels especially frightening to me. I think all parents want to protect their children from that, and while bullying can happen anywhere, I feel like smaller classes and more adult supervision might reduce the risk.

‘I feel a lot of parents I’ve spoken to have stressed Greater Parental Involvement.

Honestly, as a total school enthusiast, it just feels like some parents get all the access. They’re always chatting with teachers and principals, feel totally in the loop, and their kids get every opportunity imaginable! I mean, clubs, sports, drama, leadership programs… it’s like these things aren’t extras, they’re just as important as the regular classes, and those parents make sure their kids are right in there! It’s amazing, and a little bit… frustrating, if I’m being honest.

Charlotte recently shared that financial difficulties have caused her and Jake to delay their wedding, originally planned for 2026.

She told The Sun that the wedding is on hold because her desired items are too costly. She estimates they might be able to get married by the end of 2027.

It’s my wedding, and I want it to be amazing! You only live once, so I’m planning a really big celebration – I’m even thinking of wearing three different dresses!
