Charlotte Crosby Opens Up About Fiancé Jake Ankers and the Real Struggles Behind Their Romance

Charlotte Crosby has given a glimpse into the ups and downs of her engagement with Jake Ankers, acknowledging that they face challenging periods together.

34-year-old cast member from Geordie Shore shared a new post about their relationship, as he had traveled to Australia to catch her off guard before starting his hosting duties for Aussie Shore.

In February, Charlotte and her companion, Jake, gave birth to their second child, Pixi, joining their two-year-old daughter Alba in the family.

In November 2023, the pair publicly declared their engagement, and they were captured in a charming photograph with Jake planting a kiss on her cheek.

Sharing an open perspective, Charlotte shared with her audience that relationships aren’t simple, but rather involve working through tough times hand in hand.

In my line of work, I always appreciate when people go above and beyond, like my friend Jake did. He jetted all the way from the UK to catch me during the filming of the second season’s Australian edition. Needless to say, it was a heartwarming surprise that deserved nothing but praise!

Let’s pause for a moment to acknowledge Jake. He traveled all the way across the globe to surprise us here in Australia, and tonight, after several weeks of juggling our schedules, we’re enjoying some much-needed quality time together.

Charlotte will continue hosting Australian Shore for an additional two seasons following the tremendous success of the show, and she secured the position as head of the household on the spin-off series set in Australia, titled Down Under.

I enjoyed myself immensely as I had the opportunity to participate, interact with everyone, and have a wonderful experience without having to deal with unnecessary complications. I believe it was shot over a period of four weeks.

Once he arrived at the destination, Jake posted about the activities he and Charlotte had engaged in since their reunion.

I was delighted to have my mother-in-law Letitia join us too. Here’s a lovely photo we took together, which I’ve affectionately labeled as ‘Quality time in Oz with the dear mother-in-law.’

Jake additionally shared a hilarious clip featuring his oldest child Alba, who was covered in spaghetti bolognese after it ended up on her face while eating.

Earlier this month, Charlotte posted a heartfelt update on Instagram, where she wept openly while discussing her battles with health issues and managing two youngsters.

Charlotte found it difficult to keep her emotions in check as she shared with her 8.7 million followers that life isn’t always picture-perfect.

It came to light that she’s been dealing with persistent back issues and difficulty hearing from her ear, as she attended multiple doctor visits.

The day didn’t go as smoothly for her, as her little daughter vomited everywhere, causing a delay as she returned home to tidy her up.

Charlotte expressed: “I’m shedding a few tears right now, and I wanted to let you know that life isn’t always picture-perfect as it may seem.

I have a crucial back appointment scheduled, as I’m dealing with significant discomfort and need relief due to a long lineup of appointments coming up. Additionally, I think I might be having trouble hearing clearly in my ear.

Afterward, I needed to head to work for the entire day. Truthfully, I was eager to depart, but just as I seemed to be on track to leave early, I was making excellent progress, and would have arrived punctually for a change, I glanced into the car seat and discovered that Pixi had vomited everywhere.

“I had to rush back inside to switch things up because everything was in her hair, and Alba was patiently waiting in the car for us. It turns out she should be on a break today, but I’ve been pulling her along with me. The whole situation made me tear up.

Charlotte disclosed that she believes she was weeping because of ‘pressure’, and that she’s been striving hard to ‘take good care’ of her daughters, as businessman Jake is currently absent due to work obligations.

She added: ‘I believe it’s the pressure, specifically the pressure from preparing for a significant photoshoot tomorrow while aiming for success and simultaneously caring for Alba and Pixie. It’s challenging to handle all these responsibilities.’

1. Since Jake is always busy with work, I spend a lot of time alone. Right now, I’ve thrown my ill clothes onto the floor without proper care. I’m driving now.

2. With Jake being away for work most of the time, I often find myself on my own. Currently, I’ve tossed my sick clothes carelessly on the floor. At present, I’m behind the wheel.

3. As Jake is occupied with work all the time, I usually spend time alone. Presently, I’ve simply thrown my ailing garments onto the ground. I’m in the vehicle now.

4. Since Jake is constantly at work, I frequently have to manage on my own. At this moment, I’ve just tossed my unwell clothes on the floor without much thought. I’m currently driving.

5. With Jake working all the time, I often find myself alone. At present, I’ve thrown my sick clothes onto the floor carelessly. Right now, I’m in the car.
