Charlotte Crosby Finds Newborn ‘Boring’ Weeks After Second Birth
Charlotte Crosby openly discussed finding the newborn stage ‘dull’, sharing insights into her experiences as a mom of two.
34-year-old cast member from Geordie Shore, Pixie, recently gave birth to her second child, Pixi Cecilia Ankers, in late January. She and her partner, Jake, are also proud parents to their 2-year-old daughter, Alba.
Despite many parents scarcely having a moment for themselves, Charlotte claims managing her two daughters seems effortless to her.
She shared with Closer that motherhood of two children is going smoothly for her. She found it simpler than she had anticipated. It’s less complex than caring for a toddler while expecting another child.
Frankly, it’s quite dull. Pixi seems absent due to the fact that Alba is rather boisterous, which makes me sometimes overlook Pixi entirely since she often dozes off and I’m so focused on chasing after Alba.
She mentioned: ‘Working with Pixi is much smoother compared to when I had Alba. Initially, as a new mother juggling everything, I was panicking and feeling stressed. I felt incredibly overwhelmed and unsure about how to pick up where I left off. However, I believe that was mainly due to being a first-time mom.’
Charlotte recently hit back at mum-shamers after being trolled for her parenting.
Although she’d recently given birth, the new mother encountered criticism (mum-shaming), following her posting of a picture showing her baby sleeping on a side-sleeping pillow. This resulted in her removing the image from her social media platform.
In a conversation with TopMob regarding her freshly launched TV series titled “Charlotte’s Having Another Baby,” Charlotte commented on the circumstances: ‘Once more, people got all worked up. People got all worked up.’
Let’s all take a moment to relax; if we all could emulate my tranquility a bit, our infants would be more serene too.
As an ardent enthusiast, I can’t help but notice that there are numerous individuals who seem to thrive on hype and can be easily panicked. It appears this trait might be inheritable, passing down to the next generation.
It might not be apparent to you, but the tension and fear you’re feeling can unknowingly affect your child as well.
‘Your child feeds off your energy. I’ve got calm laid back energy. I’m not about to judge anyone.
I’m not on the verge of panicking. I won’t let myself worry excessively over their actions. Instead, I’ll take things as they come.
Previously on Instagram, Charlotte expressed: “Apologies, but I had to remove it as there were many upset individuals messaging me privately.
‘I had no problems and no worries with that product. Used with Alba and Pixi.
‘But you know how sensitive ppl get. Normal service to resume….
‘Hopefully this next post [isn’t offending] anyone.’
Charlotte noted how another thing that people are very judgmental about is breastfeeding.
She said: ‘I just really don’t understand why people care what other people are doing.
I wouldn’t criticize anyone for the way they choose to parent their child, as long as they aren’t causing serious harm. In other words, everyone has their own approach, and I respect that diversity.
It seems incredibly unfortunate to me. Some of my friends choose to breastfeed their babies, while others do not.
‘I don’t go “Oh that’s really bad”. Like, I just don’t do that. It’s their choice.’
She mentioned: “I don’t nurse my baby. In fact, I wasn’t nursed as a child either, and yet here I am, thriving, right? Has anything terribly damaging occurred in my past, not at all?
Charlotte hasn’t ruled out adding to her brood further and is open-minded about another pregnancy.
She said: ‘I haven’t wrote it off, honestly, I haven’t wrote it off.’
In response to a query regarding a timeline, I shared my thoughts by saying, ‘Not at the moment, I’m eager to enjoy life and not experience pregnancy just yet.’
The reality queen and fiancé Jake started dating in 2021.
In October 2022, the couple, who became engaged in November 2023, brought their first child, a daughter named Alba, into their family.
