Charlotte Chilton didn’t respond to a harsh post from Conor Maynard on social media. He made fun of her appearing upset while she was out on a date, all while they were publicly disagreeing about the paternity of their child.
Okay, so I’ve been completely following this, and it’s insane! Apparently, that gorgeous star from ‘The Traitors’ and the unbelievably talented Vegas Girl singer – they’re both 32, can you believe it? – had this amazing night together, but now everything is a disaster. She told him she’s pregnant, and things just exploded. They’ve been fighting ever since, and honestly, the drama is killing me!
Charlotte first claimed in June last year that Conor was the father of her unborn ‘miracle’ baby.
Despite recent news of his engagement to Kitty Bertrand, two paternity tests have confirmed that Conor is not the father of the child.
Even though the latest results came back, Charlotte is determined to keep trying to prove that Conor is the father of her child. Conor, however, has again publicly denied the claim.
Okay, so I was obsessively checking Charlotte’s Instagram, naturally, and even after everything Conor said, she just… posted a cute picture like nothing happened! It was a little sneak peek of her getting ready for a date night, can you believe it? She totally seemed to be ignoring all the drama, and honestly, I’m both impressed and a little frustrated by how unfazed she is!
The reality star looked fantastic in a floral blouse – pink and red flowers on a black background – and paired it with black jeans while posing in a kitchen.
‘My first date night look earlier this week,’ she penned.
This happened after Conor reacted to Charlotte’s recent interview by sharing a critical dance video on Instagram.
He appeared to mock her interview while promoting his new single, Cherry On Top.
He made a sarcastic remark, offering an ‘invisible tissue for your invisible tears,’ and then threw the empty tissue box away.
The lyrics of his new song appeared to reference the ongoing dispute over paternity tests, with lines like, ‘Why are you constantly talking? Just stop. No one is listening because you talk too much—please be quiet.’
He simply captioned the post: ‘My response to the most recent news..’
Charlotte recently shared her feelings with The Sun, discussing the current dispute over a paternity test and suggesting a rare medical issue might be the reason for the uncertain results.
Okay, so Charlotte finally spoke out, and honestly, it was everything. She basically said she’s been digging and digging, obsessively researching everything, because she knows in her heart that Conor Maynard is the father of her daughter. It’s like, she’s 100% certain, and she needed everyone else to understand that! I always knew it, honestly. It just makes sense.
I’ve been doing a lot of research and talking to doctors, and it seems like a possibility that I was actually carrying twins, but sadly lost one very early in the pregnancy. It explains a lot, and honestly, it’s a bit of a relief to have a potential answer.
Sometimes, unusual genetics can occur, like a condition called chimerism. This means a twin could have absorbed some of their sibling’s DNA during development, potentially making a paternity test inaccurate for their father.
I’ve been sharing my struggles lately, and it’s been incredibly difficult. Honestly, this whole situation really took a toll on my mental health. There were moments I felt completely defeated, like I just couldn’t keep going. It genuinely felt like it was going to break me, and it came dangerously close to doing just that.
Chimerism happens when an individual has cells with different genetic makeups, essentially containing two sets of DNA within the same body.
Chimerism happens naturally sometimes, like when identical twins fuse early in development. It can also occur after organ or stem cell transplants, as the recipient ends up with cells from the donor alongside their own.
It can also happen through the exchange of cells during pregnancy, known as microchimerism.
Honestly, it’s been awful seeing the negativity she’s faced since the paternity test results came out. People have been really cruel, but she’s still standing by her belief that he is the father, which I admire. It’s a tough situation, and I really feel for her.

Okay, so Charlotte mentioned something amazing – twins are actually common in her family! It totally makes sense to me now why Penelope might have been one of a pair. I mean, it just fits, you know? It’s like all the pieces are falling into place, and I’m convinced she had a twin sibling somewhere along the line!

Last month, Conor responded to Charlotte, stating he’s ready to publicly discuss the dispute over their paternity test results.
In late September, the singer and social media personality shared a new video on Instagram playfully addressing the recent controversy, jokingly referring to it as ‘My turn to speak up.’
Conor posted an Instagram reel staging a fake press conference, seemingly referencing the recent drama about his child’s paternity. The microphones around him were playfully labeled with fake newspaper names like ‘Traitor Times,’ ‘Not My Sun,’ and ‘The Legal Guardian,’ alluding to the situation.
Reporters immediately began peppering Conor with questions. One asked, “Conor, are the rumors true that you still have trouble refusing requests from women?” Another, in a more unusual line of questioning, asked, “Approximately how much money did you spend to alter your DNA?”

To wrap things up, a question from ‘Billy Jean from the One Night Standard’: ‘There’s been a lot of controversy and claims made about you recently. Would you like to respond?’
Conor remains silent, instead making eye contact with the camera as the release date ‘Cherry On Top Sept 26’ appears on screen. He’s shared a link on Instagram that allows fans to pre-save his new song on their favorite music platforms.
A second paternity test already proved that Conor is not the father of Charlotte’s daughter.
Following the birth of her daughter, Penelope, Charlotte stated that Conor wouldn’t recognize her as his child.
A paternity test showed Conor wasn’t the father, but Charlotte stated another man was present at the time the DNA sample was taken.
The woman, who has one child, also claimed Conor unexpectedly changed where testing would be done and that her own DNA wasn’t collected.
After a second test definitively showed Conor wasn’t the father of Charlotte’s daughter, Charlotte released a statement.
A representative for Charlotte told the Daily Mail that viewers who watched her on BBC’s The Traitors are aware of her strong and genuine commitment to fighting for what’s right.

Conor shared a statement on social media explaining that he recently received the results of another paternity test. This test was requested by Charlotte concerning their daughter, Penelope.
‘As with the last test, this test has confirmed again that I am not Penelope’s father.
At Charlotte’s request, DNA samples were collected from Penelope, Charlotte, and me at a DNA testing facility approved by the Ministry of Justice, which Charlotte chose.
‘The results are therefore conclusive.
Honestly, the past little while has been really tough on my family and me, but I’m incredibly thankful for all the kindness and support we’ve received. It feels so good to finally be able to move forward and put this chapter behind us.
Conor recently announced his engagement to Kitty Bertrand on social media.
The singer announced his engagement on social media, also wishing his girlfriend of a little over a year a happy birthday.
He wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my FIANCÉE. I’m ready to take on forever with you.’
Conor shared a snap of him kissing Kitty as she beamed while showing off her rock to fans.
