Charlotte Berman Speaks Out: Was She Really ‘Robbed’ in Traitors’ Shocking Finale?

Actress Charlotte Berman, who played a key role in the series “Traitors”, has finally spoken up following criticisms from viewers that she was unfairly treated when the show’s creators added a surprising plot twist at the last moment.

In the opening scene of the last episode, it turned out that Charlotte had been deceiving them all as she revealed herself to be a Traitor, having employed her abilities as the Seer to expose her true nature.

Afterward, there was an uncomfortable power struggle between Frankie and Charlotte as they both tried to persuade the group that they were innocent. However, things took a turn when Charlotte countered her friend’s argument by accusing her of betrayal.

Additionally, although it provided an exciting viewing experience on TV, the modification didn’t sit well with viewers at home. They criticized it as a detrimental alteration, expressing that the plot twist was a significant blunder.

Charlotte communicated to TopMob that the replay wasn’t something she found enjoyable, labeling it as a challenging viewing experience due to it depicting a difficult final day.

I found myself deeply moved, as if I were in the thick of things. My commitment to both the Traitors and the game compelled me not to falter or give up.

Initially, I found myself overwhelmed with sadness, shedding many tears. Nevertheless, I made every effort to continue playing, as it was an incredibly challenging time, extremely difficult, indeed, exceptionally so.

I have a difficult time watching it, as it reminds me just how challenging it was to accomplish.

In simpler terms, the cunning plan of Charlotte, a favorite to win the £94,500 prize, didn’t work on the Faithful voters, who ultimately decided to expel this alleged Traitor, thanks to the unexpected twist by the Seer.

In the last episode, viewers felt moved when a particular scene unfolded, showing Alexander, Jake, and Leanne stepping away for a discussion, thereby leaving Frankie and Charlotte on their own.

She revealed that the touching moment was so moving that Claudia Winkleman cried watching it.

Charlotte mentioned that we stepped aside and shared a truly delightful moment in the kitchen, allowing for the walls between us to dissolve.

In our conversation, there was no need for me to put on an act since she was already aware. We could simply converse, understanding that the situation wasn’t personal and it was all part of a game. It was challenging though, as I had to maintain my role while she handled hers.

Although Charlotte was a significant character in the final episode, she learned about the game’s result last night along with the rest of the nation because she had previously been exiled, allowing Alexander, Frankie, Leanne, and Jake to compete.

Overwhelmed with excitement, I couldn’t wait for the moment when Leanne and Jake, my all-time favorites, finally exposed Alexander and Frankie, turning against their loyal companions in the show. The thrill of it all escalated as they cleverly divided the grand prize money between them, leaving me on the edge of my seat!

Charlotte said it was the outcome she predicted but it wasn’t an easy watch.

As an ardent admirer, let me share my perspective: ‘I firmly believe it was a challenging ordeal. Given my conviction in their unwavering loyalty, watching them being compelled to leave was heart-wrenching, knowing they were all innocent. The situation seemed so unfair that they could have peacefully divided the outcome four ways. Yet, I couldn’t shake off this intense feeling deep within me – a gut instinct that this very scenario would unfold.’

In reflecting on Alexander’s situation, it’s truly unfortunate that his late arrivals often brought an air of uncertainty. It was almost as if one would ponder, “Is that Alexander or someone else?” Regrettably, it wasn’t anyone else; it was just the tragic reality that Fozia, a dear friend, had been taken from us prematurely. I fear this dark cloud may have hindered him from fully demonstrating his loyalty. Alas, he never received the opportunity to prove himself as reliable and faithful.

With Frankie, it seems I may have unintentionally cast a shadow of uncertainty over others’ thoughts, which was regrettable because I didn’t wish to rob her of her victory. However, I had to stick to my playstyle. Consequently, I wasn’t entirely shocked by the result.

Despite the challenges, everyone truly enjoyed themselves, and surprisingly enough, simply participating in the game feels like a victory. Just being given the chance is almost unbelievable, making each moment feel like a win.
