Charlie’s Angels stars Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Kate Jackson are set to reunite live on stage.
After decades apart, the cast will reunite publicly to celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary and share how it affected their lives.
The event will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 6 at 7:30 PM.
PaleyFest LA 2026 tickets are now available for Paley Members and Citi cardholders, with access to the best seats in the house.
You know, it’s funny what you remember! I was just thinking about Aaron Spelling the other day, and it reminded me of the last time I saw those two together – it was at the People’s Choice Awards way back in 1992. It feels like a lifetime ago!
Originally airing in 1976, Charlie’s Angels followed the adventures of three intelligent and attractive women working as private investigators for a wealthy, unseen boss named Charlie.
It became a cultural phenomenon for showing women in power.
Kate Jackson, 77, and Jaclyn Smith, 80, welcomed Cheryl Ladd, 74, to the cast in 1977, during the show’s second season, after Farrah Fawcett left. Ladd stayed with the series until it ended in 1981.
Jaclyn Smith was the only original cast member to star in Charlie’s Angels for its entire five-year run, appearing in all 110 episodes until the show ended in 1981. She played the role of Kelly Garrett.
She returned to the world of Charlie’s Angels in 2003, appearing in a film alongside Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. More recently, she made a cameo in the 2019 reboot directed by Elizabeth Banks, though the film wasn’t a commercial success.
Ladd played Fawcett’s character’s younger sister Kris Munroe on Charlie’s Angel.
I first noticed her when she was doing modeling work and popping up in all sorts of fun shows – I remember seeing her on The Rookies, The Partridge Family, even Police Woman! She was even on The Muppet Show and Happy Days – she really got around early in her career, and I was always excited to see her face!
She’s appeared in several films, including Purple Hearts (1984), Millennium (1989), Poison Ivy (1992), Permanent Midnight (1998), and Unforgettable (2017).
She’s a singer who notably performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl XIV in January 1980 and has released three albums.
Cheryl married actor David Ladd, whose father was also an actor named Alan Ladd, in 1973. They divorced in 1980 and have one daughter, Jordan Ladd, who is also an actress.
Since 1981, Ladd has been married to music producer Brian Russell and is also a stepmother to his daughter, Lindsay.
Jackson played Sabrina Duncan on Charlie’s Angels from 1976 until 1979.
She was also Amanda King in the series Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983–1987).
Her film roles include Making Love (1982) and Loverboy (1989).
Jackson was also in Dark Shadows (1970–1971), Bonanza (1972), and The Rookies (1972–1976).
She appeared in several TV movies, including Quiet Killer (1992), Empty Cradle (1993), and Satan’s School for Girls (2000). The 2000 film was a remake of a 1973 movie with the same title, and she had also been in the original.
In the mid-1970s, Jackson shared a home with actor Edward Albert. She later had romantic relationships with actors Nick Nolte and Warren Beatty.
She married actor Andrew Stevens, Stella Stevens’ son, in August 1978, but they divorced in 1981.
Jackson was then linked with actor Gary Pendergast and screenwriter Tom Mankiewicz.
She married New York businessman David Greenwald in 1982, but divorced in 1984.
She dated dermatologist Arnold Klein and later married Tom Hart in 1991. The marriage ended in divorce in 1993.
