Charlie Sheen’s voice has sparked some concern among fans of ex-wife Denise Richards’ reality show.

On the recent Tuesday edition of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” a 59-year-old actor was present, marking a reunion with his 54-year-old former partner and their 19-year-old daughter, Lola.

In a touching moment, the three remaining family members found joy, despite Charlie’s 21-year-old daughter Sami choosing not to be present due to a rift in their relationship stemming from her career on OnlyFans. However, many people on social media showed empathy for the renowned actor, expressing worry over his wellbeing as his voice sparked concern among them.

Supporters of the reality show often share comments about Charlie’s unique speaking style, which they learned is caused by laryngeal inflammation, an aftereffect of his past acid reflux condition.

A brief TikTok post showcased a snippet from a reality TV show, with someone remarking: ‘The facial surgery seems to have raised his pitch.’

Others compared his looks and voice to that of another reality star: Caitlyn Jenner.

One person commented, “He seems similar to Caitlyn Jenner,” while another added, “What makes him appear and sound like Caitlyn Jenner?

Someone mentioned that Charlie and Denise have unique vocal tones when they speak, with Charlie speaking at a higher pitch than Denise.

In 2014, Charlie admitted to the National Enquirer that acid reflux was responsible for his voice issues, specifically causing laryngeal inflammation.

Acid reflux, also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), is a long-term issue where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, resulting in symptoms such as heartburn, fits of coughing or wheezing, hoarseness, and that uncomfortable sensation of having something stuck in your throat. Occasionally, it might seem like a more concerning condition, such as cancer or a heart attack.

During the very same show, Charlie and Denise’s daughter Sami shared insights into her strained bond with her father, who had earlier expressed disapproval towards her work on OnlyFans.

Instead of joining her father for a lunch that was previously mentioned, the television personality opted against it, as she instead chose to dine with her mother and sister, Lola.

Sami expressed in a private moment that he’d prefer doing absolutely anything else over having lunch with his father.

Richard shared with the cameras that Sami and Charlie have had disagreements throughout the years, and that their daughters have experienced a great deal due to their father’s circumstances.

Samantha mentioned that there hasn’t been much communication between her and the former Two and a Half Men star over the past five months.

According to Sami, his relationship with someone has been in large pieces throughout. From the start of my life up until I was 13, things were quite challenging, he said. For a few years after that, we managed alright, but now it’s just sort of okay again.

Given his strained relationship with his father, who struggles with substance abuse issues, Richards acknowledged why Sami might feel as she does.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star expressed that there have been issues between him and Lola, as well as with any of his children, and he hopes that he understands this, as he might be overlooking it.

Instead, Sami expressed that Charlie was significantly lacking by not cultivating a tight bond with her, in essence.

Besides having two daughters with Richard, Charlie also has a daughter named Cassandra Estevez, aged 40, who he shares with his former high school sweetheart, Paula Profit. Additionally, he has twin sons, Bob and Max, both 17 years old, with his ex-partner, Brooke Mueller.

When she was 17, Sami moved out of her mother Denise Richards’ home and moved in with her father. 

In June 2022, Sami made headlines by signing up for OnlyFans, several months following her 18th birthday, which left Charlie feeling disappointed.

2023 saw him acknowledging his immediate, perhaps instinctive response, upon learning she started creating mature content on that platform.

In the most recent Denise Richards & Her Wild Things installment, Lola shared that their connection has significantly strengthened, describing it as a fortunate and valuable aspect in their relationship.

She shared that we often have pedicures as a duo, roughly every two to three weeks, and it’s something we both really enjoy.

Over lunch, Lola noted that her sister definitely inherited their dad’s ‘dark humor.’

He wondered about Lola’s well-being by asking, “How is she? Is she doing well?” However, Lola admitted that they had a small disagreement and weren’t on the best terms at that moment.

The pair and Richards opted to have lunch at a restaurant that Lola use to work at as a hostess.

Lola remembered, ‘Here among the staff, it was unknown that you were my father. When we posed for a picture, people assumed I was just a fan.’

After Charlie questioned whether Lola concealed her identity due to embarrassment or for his protection, Lola clarified that she simply preferred not to be singled out and treated uniquely.

In the first episode of “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” Lola shared that she usually seeks advice from her father.

Occasionally, I find myself getting quite excited during conversations with Mom and Sami, so I spoke to Dad for a while instead, and he provided some valuable assistance. He’s really adept at helping me think more clearly as he’s so logical.

Lola explained that her sister, Sami, ‘cannot understand’ her way of thinking.

She playfully pointed out that the only similarity she shares with Sami is their familial connection.

During the same episode, Richards described Lola as ‘like a fairy.’ 

The actress commented, “She has a delicate quality about her. She’s gentle. Her naivete sets her apart from the average 19-year-old who’s grown up in a Hollywood family in Los Angeles.

Earlier this year, Lola revealed on Instagram that she got baptized after hitting ‘rock bottom.’ 

She remembered feeling utterly bewildered and devoid of hope, simply trying to push through each day as it came. She resigned herself to believing her life would remain this way indefinitely, convinced that genuine laughter was no longer a part of her future.

Following her spiritual awakening, she declared that religion provided her a means of escape from despair and gave new purpose to her life, having struggled significantly with crippling anxiety in the past.

She decided to be baptized at the start of the current year, as she credits her survival throughout this year to the power of Jesus. She is overjoyed about entering the upcoming year.
