Charlie Kirk’s widow appears on reality show in resurfaced video years before they met

Erika Kirk, whose husband Charlie Kirk was a conservative commentator who died, was previously a cast member on the Bravo reality show Summer House.

Erika, now 36, appeared briefly in the eleventh episode of the show’s third season. At the time, she was known as Erika Frantzve.

I remember exactly when I found out she filmed her part! It was summer 2018, at this cool little bar in New York City. I was obsessively checking for any news, and when I heard, I nearly lost it! But honestly, the wait *killed* me – the episode didn’t actually air until spring of 2019. It felt like forever!

A video of her has recently appeared on TikTok following the death of her husband, who was killed on September 10th at Utah Valley University at the age of 31.

During the show, Jordan Verroi, age 36, attempted to connect Erika with his roommate, Carl Radke, 40. Carl described the potential partner of the political activist as both ‘beautiful’ and ‘religious’.

Radke suggested that Erika and Verroi might have been a more compatible couple, especially considering Verroi often talked about his strong Christian faith while on the show.

During the show, Verroi openly expressed his attraction to Erika, even complimenting her hair, smile, and overall radiant personality in a private interview.

Honestly, hearing Verroi talk about Erika just melted my heart! He said she has everything he’s ever wanted in a partner – she’s not only stunning on the outside, but she’s also incredibly beautiful on the inside. It’s so sweet to see them together!

Erika and Jordan connected over their shared religious beliefs on their date, with Erika telling Jordan he felt like a positive influence in a difficult time.

Despite a clear connection, it didn’t seem like they continued their relationship when they weren’t filming.

Erika met Charlie Kirk in the fall of 2018, and they married in May 2021. They now have two children, ages three and one.

The Summer House episode featuring Erika originally aired in May 2019. Around that time, Erika explained on social media that she turned down a permanent position on the show because she was a student at Liberty University working towards a master’s degree in law.

After graduating, Erika shared on Instagram why she chose to focus on her education instead of pursuing fame.

She thanked everyone who supported her with encouragement and prayers while she worked on her degree, explaining that she also had to put her own career on hold. This included turning down opportunities like being on Bravo’s Summer House and other television shows.

In September 2023, Erika shared on Instagram about how her relationship with the Turning Point USA cofounder started in New York City.

Five years ago today, we were at Bill’s Burgers in New York City, having a long conversation about everything from religion and philosophy to politics. Then, out of the blue, you told me you wanted to date me.

Dating with the goal of marriage is very different from casual dating. Trust God to guide your love life.

Erika Kirk promised to carry on her husband’s work after his death, and she had a direct message for those she believes were responsible for his murder.

She told Fox News that people hadn’t grasped the full impact of her husband’s work. She believes it will have a far-reaching and powerful effect across the country and the world.

Erika announced that she plans to continue her late husband’s podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, and his radio program as a way to honor his memory.

Erika encouraged young people to get involved with Turning Point USA, an organization that promotes values such as patriotism, respect for life, freedom, family, and financial responsibility, according to its website.

Erika expressed her gratitude to President Trump and Vice President Vance for their support following the heartbreaking death of her husband.

Erika told the President, “My husband truly admired you, and he knew you felt the same way. You two had a wonderful friendship.”

Erika Kirk explained how she told her three-year-old about his father’s death, saying, ‘He’s gone on a work trip with Jesus.’

Reactions on social media to Erika’s reality TV past varied.

A commenter pointed out that people associated with Turning Point and The Daily Wire all previously worked in entertainment, and found it strange.

Honestly, everyone else just *doesn’t get it*! They’re saying Erika Kirk had a life before Charlie, like that even *matters*! Some random person online actually said that, like it diminishes everything! It’s like they’re deliberately missing the point – it’s about *them* together, and that’s all that should matter! It’s infuriating!

The user added, ‘The world will never be the same!’
