Charli XCX stuns in sheer white gown as she ties the knot with The 1975 star George Daniel in emotional second wedding in Sicily with bandmate Matty Healy and his mum Denise Welch among guests

Charli XCX and George Daniel renewed their vows in a beautiful Sicilian wedding ceremony on Sunday, appearing deeply in love.

The 32-year-old pop star showcased her unique fashion sense with a flowing, Grecian-style wedding dress as she and her husband, the 35-year-old drummer from The 1975, renewed their vows just two months after their original London wedding.

The newly married couple shared a touching moment as they reaffirmed their vows and exchanged rings with family and friends. Among the guests were George’s bandmate, Matty Healy, and his mother, Denise Welch.

The bride wore a flowing white dress with a long train. The sheer fabric showed off a fitted corset underneath.

Staying true to her signature style, singer Charli XCX – born Charlotte Emma Aitchison – intentionally showed off her white underwear.

George looked handsome beside her, wearing a comfortable taupe suit and a loose silk shirt that was partially unbuttoned, revealing his necklaces.

Throughout the heartfelt ceremony, the couple clearly felt a lot of emotion. They shared moments of laughter and tears, held hands, and lovingly read their vows to each other.

George appeared visibly emotional throughout the event, dabbing away tears as close friends and family shared stories and one even played a song on the guitar.

They sealed their recommitment with a loving kiss at the altar, looking completely devoted to each other as they renewed their vows.

As the couple walked back down the aisle, greeted by applause and confetti, Matty stood up and cheered for them.

Just like any good musicians, Charli and George quickly joined their guests in celebrating after the meaningful ceremony.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just *saw* them! They were completely letting go, seriously dancing and laughing like they didn’t have a care in the world! And the cocktails were flowing – it looked like the perfect night, honestly. I’m so jealous I wasn’t there with them!

Okay, picture this: we were celebrating and decided a champagne tower was *exactly* what the moment called for! Honestly, it’s such a fun, festive touch. And, yes, there may have been a little extra romance in the air – we couldn’t help but share a kiss or two amidst all the bubbly!

Guests enjoyed Aperol Spritzes while laughing and dancing in the sunshine.

Charli and George got married in an official ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London back in August.
