Lots of well-dressed British celebrities attended the glamorous 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Okay, let me tell you, the Ted Mann Theater was *the* place to be last night! I spotted Charli XCX absolutely owning the red carpet. She wore this incredible black gown – think gorgeous lace mixed with edgy leather, a really daring neckline, and a super cool drop waist. It was a total statement look, and she pulled it off flawlessly!
The 33-year-old singer, recently married, definitely caught everyone’s attention with her elegant outfit, which she paired with a diamond necklace.
Elsewhere model Cara Delevingne, 33, dazzled in a glitzy silver gown with a ruffled blue neckline.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, age 38, showcased her supermodel status in a striking silver and black velvet dress with a low neckline.
Naomi Watts, 57, looked elegant in a flowing light blue feathered dress paired with classic black heels.
Other British stars in attendance included Ed Sheeran, Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne and Orlando Bloom.
This year’s gala was co-hosted by well-known stars like Jon M. Chu, Viola Davis, Robert Downey Jr., and Jennifer Hudson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amy Homma, the director and president of the Academy Museum, recently released a statement about Saturday’s ceremony.

Homma noted that they are thrilled to celebrate Penelope Cruz, Walter Salles, Bruce Springsteen, and Bowen Yang at their fifth annual gathering, recognizing them as impactful storytellers whose work extends beyond the world of film.
We deeply appreciate the early support of the museum, especially from partners like Rolex, who have consistently championed cinema. We’re also grateful to our event co-chairs for making this significant occasion possible.
American celebrities attending included Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber and Jenna Ortega.
Kim, 44, walked the red carpet at the event in a masked look – stunning some onlookers.
Kim Kardashian wore a tan dress with a fitted, corset-style top that showed off her figure. The dress also featured long, flowing sleeves that trailed on the floor.
The reality star completely covered her head with matching fabric, and topped the look with a sparkling diamond necklace.
Penelope Cruz, celebrated with the Icon Award, looked radiant in a shimmering off-white dress adorned with rhinestones.
The dress was held up by delicate straps around her shoulders and featured a short train that trailed behind her.
Oh my gosh, did you SEE Charli at the gala?! It was just weeks after she *finally* married George Daniel from The 1975 this summer – I’ve been following their relationship for ages, and seeing her there looking incredible after the wedding was everything!

The wedding ceremony was held on a scenic rocky cliff overlooking the ocean. Chairs were set up facing a beautifully decorated altar with eucalyptus and baby’s breath.
Charli and George sealed their renewed commitment with a loving kiss at the altar, celebrating their second marriage.
As the couple walked back down the aisle, greeted by clapping and confetti, Matty stood up and cheered for them.
