On Saturday, Charli XCX made sure everyone was looking at her when she kicked off her unique Party Girl Festival.

32-year-old vocalist graced the stage at Lido Field within Victoria Park, performing before an audience of approximately 35,000 individuals, nearly a year after unveiling her BRAT album that has dominated the music scene.

While enjoying an Aperol spritz and smoking a cigarette, she performed a variety of tracks from the popular remix album, such as “Von Dutch,” “365 Remix,” “Girl,” and “So Confusing.

Additionally, she showcased Speed Drive, a track from the Barbie soundtrack released in 2012, along with popular hits like I Love It and Blame It On Your Love. Transforming the stage into a nightclub, she incorporated flashing strobe lights, intense techno rhythms, and even a waterfall.

Amelia Dimoldenberg, famous for Chicken Shop Date, did the popular TikTok dance to Charli’s song ‘Apple’. Meanwhile, Bladee, a Swedish artist, joined Charli on stage for an electrifying rendition of the ‘Rewind’ remix, causing the audience to go wild.

In a lively turn of events, Paul Mescal from the show “Normal People” was likewise seen wholeheartedly immersing himself in the festive vibe as the evening progressed.
