Charli XCX shares a glimpse of pre-wedding celebrations with husband George Daniel as they practice their first dance in a historic palace ahead of ‘wild’ second ceremony in Sicily

Charli XCX and her husband, George Daniel, have begun celebrating their second wedding in Sicily. Reports suggest the event is a lavish and extravagant affair in the popular Italian destination.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how couples prepare for their big day! It’s so sweet to see this British singer, 33, giving us a peek into her pre-wedding fun on Instagram. She’s even shared a little snippet of her and her future spouse practicing their first dance – how adorable is that? It really shows the excitement and effort that goes into making a wedding personal and special.

Staying true to her rebellious image, Charli shared photos of herself and George, 35, enjoying cocktails and cigarettes while exploring Palermo.

The couple recently had a legal ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London and will follow it with a small, private wedding celebration at a resort in Italy soon.

Charli shared photos of herself with her husband, George, the drummer for The 1975, as they relaxed with friends and enjoyed Aperol Spritz drinks.

Friends of the singer from The Apple were seen smoking cigarettes as they strolled through the streets, and then went to visit the lavish Palazzo Valguernera Gangi in Palermo.

Charli and George chose a beautiful, historic home – originally built in the 1700s and famously used in the 1963 film ‘The Leopard’ – as the place to rehearse their first dance as a couple.

After heading back to their hotel, George could be seen rolling cannabis to smoke before bed.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing buzz about Charli and George’s wedding celebrations! They officially became husband and wife back in August, but it sounds like the real party is about to begin. Word on the street is they’re planning an absolutely incredible, over-the-top celebration – think a full-on rave, but in a stunning Sicilian setting. They’re really going all out!

The couple is reportedly having a wonderful wedding celebration with their closest friends and family.

According to a source, Charli and George are planning a lavish and over-the-top celebration for their second wedding.

‘They’re getting wed in an intimate resort and will have a massive party afterwards.’

Apparently, Charli and George are serving custom-made cocktails, and their party – nicknamed the ‘rave cave’ – won’t have a closing time.

The party is said to be going until the ‘last person standing collapses into bed.’

George’s bandmates from The 1975 are likely to be at the event, but it might be difficult for lead singer Matty Healy to make it since he’s currently in Los Angeles.

Someone familiar with the situation has refuted reports of another wedding. Daily Mail has contacted Charli’s team for a statement.

Charli and her husband, a drummer, got married earlier this year with a small ceremony attended by about 20 of their closest friends and family. The groom’s bandmates, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, were also there.

Charli shared a TikTok video of her wedding look, showcasing her long, Vivienne Westwood dress. She accessorized with sunglasses and confidently walked into the frame, then turned and walked away.

She playfully said, ‘Hopefully George won’t cry when he sees me walk down the aisle,’ then quickly added that he thankfully did not.

The singer, known for “360”, also showed off footage from their lively afterparty. She changed into another white dress – a £3,300 gown from Nova Cora – and celebrated her marriage with friends.

George playfully tried on his new wife’s veil, casually smoking a cigarette and showing off his fit body under an open silk shirt.

The wedding party had a blast dancing to Charli’s music, and they shared a video with the caption: ‘Bridal party vibes!’

Charli looked incredibly stylish on her wedding day. She wore a short, white dress with a flattering neckline and flowing fabric, completing the look with a classic veil.

The singer put on a pair of Jimmy Choo heels, let her long black hair flow freely, and carried a bunch of white flowers.

After the wedding, the couple went to Dalla, a nearby Italian restaurant, where they enjoyed a meal and Aperol Spritzes outside. They then continued the celebration at Ellie’s bar in Dalston.

According to a source, Charli’s wedding reception was perfectly in line with her ‘Brat’ persona. She and George wanted a relaxed vibe, so they chose to walk from the ceremony down Hackney High Street to reach the Dalla restaurant instead of using cars.

The restaurant was closed by the time they arrived, so they enjoyed a huge family-style meal with plenty of pasta and champagne.

Passersby were surprised to see Charli and George sharing a quick cigarette outside before dinner.
