Charles Spencer talks about his nephews’ support of the Diana Awards charity
As a fervent admirer of the Spencer family dynamics and the indelible impact of Princess Diana, I find Charles Spencer‘s unwavering dedication to his late sister’s legacy truly inspiring. His recent collaboration with the Rock Choir for the 25th anniversary of the Diana Award is a testament to his relentless commitment to honoring her memory and nurturing future generations.
On September 20, Charles Spencer invited 350 participants from the Rock Choir to Althorp. The purpose of their visit was to contribute to a unique production commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Diana Award charitable organization.
Indeed, Spencer also posted a video on what used to be known as Twitter, demonstrating the fantastic effort put into this recording. At this occasion, it appears he was queried regarding his nephews, William and Harry, members of the British royal family.
As reported by Hello Magazine, Charles Spencer discussed the Diana Award with Chris Ship from ITV. He mentioned that his nephews acknowledge this as something belonging to their mother and they both stand behind it, which is what truly counts in this specific context.
Absolutely, this event was not centered around the princes, despite the interest many royal enthusiasts might have about their relationship, particularly updates from Prince William and Prince Harry. Instead, Spencer steered the conversation away from his nephews and towards his late sister and the charity established in her honor.
It’s really extraordinary for me, as her brother, to think of the impact Diana continues to have, and it’s a source of great family pride for us that, yes, she has been gone for over a quarter of a century now.
And a lot of the Diana Award winners I’ve met over the past quarter of a century are so intrigued by what she did, and they are inspired to give life a go in a really good direction.
Charles Spencer continues to keep his sister’s memory alive while supporting the Diana Award
Listen to eight tracks from Rock Choir, recorded at Althorp House today, as heard from my window… What a delightful melody! I wish their recording achieves great success for The Diana Award.

It’s evident that the brothers remain dedicated to honoring their mother’s legacy, as they consistently contribute efforts towards the Diana Award. In April 2024, both of them participated in an award function, with Prince Harry joining remotely from his residence in Montecito.
It’s evident that Charles Spencer seldom openly expresses his support for his royal nephews, but it’s also obvious that he stands by them in the best way possible. Moreover, he isn’t shy about voicing his opinions when he deems it necessary.
It’s evident that Charles Spencer truly embodies the role of a loving brother and uncle, and it warms our hearts to see him honor his sister’s legacy in his unique manner.
