A new mobile game based on the popular Charisma franchise has been announced. Called Charisma de Murder Mystery, the game is set to release in 2026, as revealed at the Charisma Stage event during AnimeJapan 2026.
Charisma de Murder Mystery features the seven original characters in a new setting
AltPlus Co., Ltd. is developing the game, but they haven’t revealed many details about how it will play yet. The title suggests it will be a story-rich mystery, possibly a visual novel that revolves around solving a murder.

The game will star the seven beloved characters fans know and love. This time, however, the story unfolds in a new location – likely a different house – and centers around a mystery, potentially similar to a ‘whodunnit’ plot.
Charisma is a project that started in Japan in 2021, created by EVIL LINE RECORDS. It features seven characters with unique personalities, all exploring different types of charisma while living together.
The project has become increasingly popular in Japan, expanding through various forms of media like music, audio dramas, manga, and stage productions. An anime adaptation is also in the works, confirmed for November 2025, and will feature the original voice actors along with a sneak peek trailer.
As of today, Charisma de Murder Mystery is still being developed, and we haven’t seen any gameplay or learned when it will be released – other than sometime after 2026. If the game does well in Japan, it will likely be released worldwide. We’ll share more information as it becomes available.
