Channing Tatum reveals it will be 'horrifying' when daughter Everly, 11, sees his Magic Mike dance moves in the future

As I read through this article, it struck me how different perspectives can shape our experiences, especially when it comes to the mysterious and unknown. Channing Tatum’s anecdote about taking his daughter Everly to a haunted hotel in Salem brought back memories of my own youthful adventures, filled with curiosity and a dash of fear.

Channing Tatum doesn’t feel it’s appropriate for his daughter, Everly, to see his dance routines from Magic Mike in the years to come.

On late-night television with Seth Meyers, the 44-year-old actor from Hollywood, who has playfully labeled Zoe Kravitz a “movie enthusiast,” shared thoughts about films during a promotional event for his newest movie, titled “Blink Twice.”

At a certain moment, he considered bringing his 11-year-old child (the one he co-parents with Jenna Dewan) to the Taylor Swift concert during her Eras Tour performance in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, it’s worth noting that Tatum had the opportunity to watch the Grammy-winning artist perform live on stage along with Kravtiz at Wembley Stadium.

To put it another way, Channing shared with Meyers that experiencing the performance with his daughter was unlike anything else, as he had to join her in the fun, dancing more enthusiastically than ever before.

“Well, it seems like you’ve got quite a bit of that ‘Magic Mike’ charisma going on,” I teased, acknowledging the actor’s notable role in the popular franchise.

Channing stated that he didn’t dance as he typically does, and skipped performing any body rolls while moving to Taylor Swift’s popular songs alongside his daughter. He made it clear that there wasn’t a hint of those moves.

“Overwhelmed with excitement, I admitted, ‘I can’t help but dance whenever her movies play, though I hope she remains blissfully unaware of my moves.’ Naturally, the host couldn’t resist asking me when I might finally catch a glimpse of those films in person.”

In films, Channing Tatum famously takes on the character of a male dancer, with this role having some resemblance to his personal experiences.

‘It’s gonna happen, but it’s not gonna happen because you show it,’ Meyers told the star.

Channing acknowledged that it would be quite scary when it happens, but regarding the dance steps he demonstrates to his daughter, he explained, “I’ll mostly confine it to that realm.”

He then tossed his arms innocently from side-to-side to give an example of his laidback moves.

Seth playfully forecasted it would feel similar to the first time “she” becomes the parent, when she encounters Magic Mike. (This version attempts to keep the original phrasing and meaning, but presents it in a more natural, conversational style.)

The host humorously said, “When you get back home, it’ll be as if she turns on a light, then says, ‘Let’s have a chat.'”

Recently, Channing went to his second Taylor Swift show during her Eras Tour in London, where he received guitar picks as a present from the artist’s dad, Scott.

The actor jumped to Instagram to share a selfie that he had taken with Scott and revealed that he plans to sell the picks ‘for charity.’

In another part of the conversation, Tatum mentioned a recent visit to Salem, Massachusetts with his daughter, who is fascinated by witches and the supernatural.

For about the past seven years, she’s been yearning to visit Salem. Once we arrived, I couldn’t help but think that perhaps this would be a moment when she might realize, “Oh, it’s not as I imagined.” You understand, don’t you?

It’s similar to imagining Egypt as a place where people are constantly roaming about as mummies. I thought perhaps her reaction wouldn’t be quite so astonished.

However, the star explained that Everly, ‘was so leaning in.’

The pair consisting of a father and daughter decided to spend a night at the infamous Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, a place known for its hauntings. They cautioned me, “Avoid the third and sixth floors entirely.” To which I replied, “No chance! I’m not even going there at all.”

Instead of saying “But his 11-year-old wanted to explore the areas,” you could say “My daughter expressed her eagerness to scout around by saying something like, ‘Let’s climb up there a bit. Let’s go up the stairs, take a peek for a moment, and then dash back down.'” This paraphrase aims to keep the original meaning while using more natural language and making it easier to read.

Channing then humorously admitted, ‘No, I’m not about it. I’m like “You go up there.”‘

Although they hold contrasting opinions about the supernatural, the actor stated, “She found it fascinating. In fact, the entire town embraces its historical connection to [the Salem Witch Trials].”

Tatum has been keeping busy by promoting his upcoming film, Blink Twice, which was directed by his fiancée, Zoe Kravitz.

At a charity event, the wealthy tech mogul Slater King (Tatum) encounters Frida, a cocktail server. Intrigued by her, he extends an invitation for her to accompany him and his companions on a luxurious getaway at his personal island retreat.

‘As strange things start to happen, Frida (Naomi Ackie) questions her reality,’ per IMDB.

On a Wednesday, both him and Kravitz were present at a thriller screening in New York City, where several famous personalities like Austin Butler, Emily Ratajkowski, Questlove, and Shaboozey were also attending the event.

Only a few days ago, I was there, right in the thick of it all, as the dazzling duo graced the red carpet at the London premiere for the upcoming film. Can’t wait until this Friday, August 23rd, when it finally hits the screens!

Channing looked sharp in a traditional, black tuxedo, complemented by a crisp white dress shirt and a sleek black tie.

I couldn’t help but gush over how stunningly radiant Zoe looked in that sleeveless, fiery-red gown! It hugged her figure so perfectly, and the addition of a slim belt effortlessly highlighted her slender waistline – truly a sight to behold for any admirer like myself!
