Channing Tatum makes rare comments about ‘strong-willed’ daughter Everly, 12, who ‘yelled’ at him recently

Channing Tatum talked about his daughter, Everly, during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday.

While publicizing his latest movie, Roofman, the 45-year-old actor talked about a story involving his 12-year-old child with his former wife, Jenna Dewan.

He said he’s noticed a change in Everly as she prepares to enter her teenage years.

Speaking about host Drew Barrymore’s daughters, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11, he shared that he’s experiencing changes as a parent, saying, ‘I’m not sure when it started for you, but it’s just beginning for me.’

He described the young girl as always having strong opinions and a determined personality, but noted that her behavior had recently become much more extreme.

A father of one recently shared that he was surprisingly scolded during an escape room experience, noting it was the first time the person had ever raised their voice at him.

He explained that he was just thinking aloud, saying something like, “I wonder what this does?” and his daughter immediately told him, “Dad, don’t touch that!”

The celebrity explained, ‘I was so surprised by what happened. We were both working on a solution, but now it feels like we need professional help to deal with that one moment.’

Let me tell you, I’ve heard some pretty wild things in my line of work, but this one takes the cake. Someone described seeing a complete shift in Everly – a total change in her eyes. They said it was like they went completely dark, almost black like a shark’s eyes, and it was honestly a really unsettling experience for them. It was a truly bizarre transformation, apparently.

I was really interested in what Channing Tatum shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week. He opened up about his daughter, and it got people talking – and honestly, it’s something a lot of parents can probably relate to!

He explained that juggling his career with fatherhood is an ongoing ‘negotiation.’

‘It’s a balance and it’s a constant negotiation,’ the leading man told host Kelly.

He recently talked to his daughter while driving her to school. He’s planning a movie project in Australia next year that will keep him away from her for about two months, and he was discussing this with her.

You know, as someone who keeps an eye on how people navigate relationships and work, I’ve been hearing a bit about my own experiences coming up. Apparently, when discussing boundaries and expectations with my partner, Inka Williams, who’s 26, it reminded me of a conversation I had years ago while filming ‘Roofman’ in North Carolina. It was one of those moments where we really had to talk things through, and it’s funny how similar situations can pop up again, even in completely different contexts.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Everly actually walked the red carpet with her dad at the English dub premiere of *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle*! It was in September, and I’m still not over it! Seriously, seeing her there was amazing. I was practically screaming!

Following the glitzy event, he took to Instagram to share photos with his 17.3 million followers.

The excited father shared that attending the premiere of *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle* with his daughter Evie was a lifelong dream fulfilled.

I’ve always looked up to her in the anime world, so getting to work with her on my first voice acting role as Keizo was incredibly meaningful.

He wrapped up his caption, expressing how amazing it feels to have a project they both worked on now playing in theaters. He said his heart was full and he was incredibly excited like a longtime fan!
