Channing Tatum calls future father-in-law Lenny Kravitz ‘pops’ – as Magic Mike star smooches Zoe at Blink Twice photocall
As someone who has been through the whirlwind of Hollywood relationships and family dynamics, I can’t help but admire the camaraderie between Channing Tatum and Lenny Kravitz. The respect and adoration that these two men share for each other is truly heartwarming, especially considering they are about to become in-laws.
Channing Tatum expressed affection towards his future father-in-law, renowned musician Lenny Kravitz.
On Friday, Channing Tatum (who played in Magic Mike), aged 44, uploaded a video of Lenny (60-year-old individual) dancing onto his Instagram Stories, with the accompanying caption, “Here we go, dad!”
Reciprocated affection was evident as Lenny expressed admiration for Zoë Kravitz’s partner, who in turn referred to her as the love of his life. During an interview on the Zoë Ball and Friends podcast, Lenny also praised his daughter’s fiancé as a ‘wonderful man.’
In June, Lenny remarked that he had been brought up properly, which explains his good manners and charm. He’s not just any person, but a deeply compassionate individual. As a result, it didn’t take long for him to feel like part of our family.
‘He fits and they’re in love. We’re going to have a wedding next year,’ the proud dad added.
This isn’t the first time Channing has heaped public praise on the Let Love Rule rocker.
Earlier this year, the 21 Jump Street actor commented on a photo Lenny shared on Instagram.
In the photo, Rihanna (the Fly Away singer) was seen donning a pair of jeans and posing in front of a tree, with undulating hills as a backdrop.
His flawless, chiseled torso was on full – and delectable – display. He captioned the post, ‘Standing in love and gratitude.’
Channing playfully remarked, “Goodness gracious, Lenny! Watch out or you might end up injuring someone here. Ha-ha!”
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement following Channing’s recent praise for Lenny. This enthusiasm stems from their public display of affection at the London premiere of Zoë’s directorial debut, Blink Twice, on the red carpet.
Nevertheless, although Lenny claimed there would be a wedding the following year, his daughter corrected this assumption during an interview with Esquire.
She clarified to the source that it was merely a casual comment, such as saying, “Next year could be interesting.”
During the same conversation, Zoë expressed her thoughts on having children with Channing, stating, “Women often face significant societal pressure to have kids, and there’s an underlying belief that if they choose not to, their lives lack meaning.”
For quite some time, I’ve had the feeling that I wasn’t quite right. I kept hoping for an epiphany, a moment of clarity, but it never came.
‘When you’re younger, you’re like, “Well, I can’t have kids. I’m too young! It’d be crazy.”
She added, “However, there comes a point when you’re no longer quite so young. And it’s not irrational, but rather necessary, for me to consider and reflect on What is it that I truly desire?”
