Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz team up for Cate Blanchett’s alien comedy
As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with a soft spot for unique storylines and stellar cast performances, I’m genuinely thrilled about the upcoming project “Alpha Gang.” The idea of Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz, two talented actors I’ve admired for years, joining forces in an alien invasion comedy penned by the Zellner Brothers has me intrigued.
Actors Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have agreed to appear in an upcoming alien-themed comedy about invasion, produced by the Zellner Brothers.
Two new additions will be part of an impressive ensemble featuring Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough (as reported by The Hollywood Reporter).
Under the title Alpha Gang, an upcoming movie portrays a band of extraterrestrial intruders, with Cate Blanchett’s character Alpha One serving as their commander. These aliens camouflage themselves as a 1950s motorcycle gang, embarking on a plan to infiltrate our planet.
But, their relentless schemes are thrown off course when they are overtaken by “the most infectious aspect of humanity” – emotions.
Alongside Coco Francini, Gina Gammell, Ryan Zacarias, Mary Aloe, and Andrea Bucko, Blanchett and the Zellner brothers will also take part in producing the film.
The Alpha Gang project promises a cinematic get-together for Tatum and Kravitz, having recently collaborated on Kravitz’s directorial debut titled “Blink Twice”.
In this psychological thriller, Naomi Ackie plays Frida, a cocktail waitress who receives an invitation for a luxurious getaway on tech tycoon Slater King’s (Tatum) secluded island. But what starts off as a dream vacation quickly spirals into a chilling mystery, and if Frida is to survive, she must unmask the truth behind the sinister happenings.
The movie titled “Blink Twice” garnered positive reviews from critics, which resulted in a “fresh” rating of 75% on the review platform, Rotten Tomatoes.
According to the review, “Blink Twice” is an exciting and unforgettable first-time directorial effort that propels Zoë Kravitz into the ranks of directors worth keeping an eye on. This movie pulses with energy.
According to Digital Spy’s evaluation, the movie “Blink Twice” effectively brought attention to the everyday risks that women encounter.
It appears that Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz, who are set to star in a movie together, have ended their three-year engagement, as reported by People. At this point, neither of them has made any official statement regarding these rumors.
