Oh my gosh, as a die-hard fan of Channing Tatum, I am simply blown away by his life story! From his humble beginnings as a stripper in Florida to becoming one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors, he truly is an inspiration.

As a devoted admirer of cleanliness, I’ve found myself on an unusual journey – one that led me to purchase a fresh stack of white T-shirts every year, all in the name of postponing laundry day. This intriguing habit was something I recently disclosed.

Prior to achieving fame as a Hollywood actor, he spent eight months working at a strip club in Florida. This experience served as the basis for his roles in the Magic Mike films.

In 1998, right after his eighteenth birthday, he accepted the job, and recently, videos have emerged of him dancing at a club named Male Encounter in 1999, performing under the alias Chan Crawford.

Currently, at the age of 44, Channing considers the year 1999 or 2000 as the “Year of the Fresh White T-Shirt” since he opted not to wash his shirts and instead purchased new ones instead.

In a recent interview with GQ, the actor from 21 Jump Street candidly admitted, “I really dislike doing laundry. It’s something I dislike intensely.”

He shared his specific preferences for white T-shirts – the ‘plain’ version released by Hanes, or the ‘ribbed’ white tank top, ‘not the weird, sort of fitted ones.’ 

Channing confided that he managed to survive an entire year (which he referred to as his “Year of the Fresh White Tee”) without doing a single load of laundry, instead opting to wear only new white t-shirts during that time.

He burst into laughter at the memory of his youthful purchases, saying: ‘I would be like: “I can get like two wears out of this a week.” This is gonna be good. The year of the fresh white tee, ’99 or 2000. It was a beautiful year.’ 

Channing divides custody of his 10-year-old daughter Everly with his former spouse, Jenna Dewan, who he encountered during their collaboration on the 2006 dance film Step Up.

Jenna is currently insisting on receiving a portion of Channing’s earnings from the Magic Mike series, as she claims that the concept for this profitable film franchise originated during their married life together.

Channing plans to share with Everly, when she’s old enough, the realities of his past as a dancer in adult entertainment shows like ‘Magic Mike’.

Last year, I openly shared with Entertainment Tonight that once she’s mature enough to understand, we’ll certainly discuss those topics together, me being the overly enthusiastic fan that I am.

In other words, since it’s impossible for there to be a version of me that hasn’t had the discussion about my past as a stripper with this person, I won’t deceive her by lying.

Currently, Channing Tatum is betrothed to Zoë Kravitz, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. In the forthcoming film known as “Blink Twice” (previously called “P***y Island”), Zoë directed Channing.

For a period of two years prior to their engagement, Zoe and Channing nurtured their relationship as they collaborated on the project ‘Blink Twice’.

Instead of his on-screen persona, Channing proved himself to be a dependable source of encouragement for Zoe during her debut as a movie director.

She shared with GQ that whether it was him preparing drinks for her, training someone vigorously or anything else, he always acted as my guardian. It was truly delightful and heartwarming, she added. I believe if you can share such experiences together, it’s a strong indicator of a relationship. And indeed, our bond grew even stronger as a result.
