As a lifestyle expert, I must admit that Jennifer Keyte’s newfound love at 64 is truly inspiring and serves as a testament to the fact that it’s never too late to find happiness. Her journey, marked by resilience and grace, is a reminder that life’s most beautiful chapters can unfold even when we least expect them to.

Jennifer Keyte has gotten lucky in love at the age of 64.

The Channel Ten newsreader stepped out with her new man at the weekend, attending the Australian Open golf tournament at Kingston Heath, Victoria.

On her arm was handsome medical professor Meng Law, a respected scientific researcher.

The television host shared with the Herald Sun on Sunday that we initially connected through common acquaintances, and he truly impresses me.

At Monash University’s School of Translational Medicine, there is a professional named Law who operates within the Department of Neuroscience.

He holds professorships in both Radiology and a combined field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering at the university.

Moreover, the intelligent individual serves as the head of the iBRAIN Program (short for Bioinformatics Research in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroimaging).

The pair have been dating for eight months, after Keyte previously spent a a period single.

In 2009, following 16 years together, the mother of two sons named Keyte ended her marriage with her ex-husband Ben Faggetter by divorce.

In a conversation with the Herald Sun, she had expressed that it seemed like a challenging period in her life due to her divorce.

‘It’s always difficult when you’ve been very, very happy and it comes to that.’

Keyte earlier revealed that she was immensely proud of her two sons, who are now

She expressed her pride, stating how fulfilling it is to watch James and Zander grow into self-reliant, mature young adults. It’s all about stepping back and witnessing them expand their horizons, she added.

This May, Keyte found herself unattached and openly expressed her readiness to embark on a new romantic journey, possibly through the internet.

‘I am single and I have been encouraged to (go online)’ she said at the time.

‘Some people I know claim they’ll guide me through, though it might happen eventually, I’m just not eager to jump into the fray.’

Back in 2019, she discussed just not having ‘room’ for a love life.

In a simpler phrase, she told the Herald Sun, “They say that if you create space, growth will follow. However, I haven’t had the space. But perhaps someday it will change.

I find it quite appealing, but it hasn’t risen to the top of my priorities yet. The decision hinges on what you deem necessary and desirable for your life.

‘As a single mother, my job was the boys’ she continued.

“I deeply cherish my job, my loved ones including family and friends, and I eagerly look forward to the possibility of finding time for a romantic connection someday. By any chance, do you know someone who might be suitable for me? I’m open to the idea of being introduced.

Keyte continued by expressing that she’d enjoyed dedicating herself to her professional life extensively, yet she cherished her role as a mother to her sons just as much.

She talked about the various stages in her life, but mentioned particularly fondly and even now, her experience as a mother.

‘It’s just been a joy. It was very easy for me to go part time, to take maternity leave.

After spending two decades as a dedicated worker, followed by the arrival of my children, I found myself missing something – my identity felt incomplete without my profession. Therefore, maintaining a balance between work and personal life is crucial, if possible.
