The Daily Mail Australia was the front-runner in reporting the fresh romance between the pair, sharing an intimate photograph of them together from February.

Danika announced her new relationship not long after calling off her engagement, only a few months before the wedding was scheduled to take place.

After many rumors and guesses, the couple ultimately confirmed their relationship by posting a picture on the footballer’s Instagram account, showing him affectionately hugging Danika.

Danika dumped her ex Todd Liubinskas in September just three weeks before their wedding. 

Previously, it was disclosed that Todd requested Danika to return her diamond engagement ring to him, not directly but through an intermediary, as the ring was considered a valuable family heirloom.

At a Sydney restaurant in Potts Point last February, Danika, known for her work on Wide World of Sports and as a Nine NRL sideline reporter, was noticed getting cozy with Liam during a dinner date, openly displaying affectionate gestures between them.
