Channel 4’s “special” critically-acclaimed drama is about to leave Netflix – don’t miss out!

The popular science-fiction series, “Humans,” which garnered critical acclaim from Channel 4, will no longer be available on Netflix in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The series, airing from 2015 to 2018, takes place in a universe where artificial beings called synths have become prevalent, causing tension and conflict within society on all fronts.

There’s plenty of recognisable faces across the show’s huge cast, including Crazy Rich Asians‘ Gemma Chan, Rivals‘ Katherine Parkinson, Game of Thrones‘ Will Tudor, The Matrix‘s Carrie-Anne Moss, The Rig‘s Mark Bonnar and Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright.

The show has a 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Digital Spy‘s own review calling it a “special” show with excellent storytelling efficiency.

Humans currently has a ‘Leaving Soon’ badge on Netflix, with the site What’s On Netflix reporting that it will be removed on April 1, alongside films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Last of the Mohicans, and the popular anime series Yu Yu Hakusho.

After Humans is removed from Netflix, you’ll still be able to watch it on Channel 4’s streaming service, which is free with adverts by default, although you can subscribe to an ad-free tier for £3.99 a month, or £39.99 for a year.

The show is also available on ITVX, but only through the ITVX Premium tier, which is £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year. That monthly price is the same as Netflix’s lowest tier, although ITVX Premium is ad-free.

Humans is available to stream on Channel 4, ITVX Premium and, for now, on Netflix.
