Channel 10’s Celia Pacquola reveals she was given telling off from Seven after THAT Logies F-bomb: ‘They threw me out under the bus!’
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for entertainment and a deep appreciation for the unfiltered wit of comedians, I must admit that Celia Pacquola‘s recent Logie Awards incident has left me both amused and impressed. With her extensive experience in the industry, it’s no surprise that she can command a room and deliver a joke with such finesse, even under the pressure of a live broadcast.
Channel Seven reprimanded Celia Pacquola following her use of an explicit language, the “F-word,” during the 2024 Logie Awards broadcast.
At that high-profile awards event on Sunday evening, I, being the host, took everyone by surprise with an unexpected, adult-themed remark as I shared the stage with Luke McGregor. Quite a memorable moment for all present!
During a live broadcast on Channel Seven, she unexpectedly used an explicit phrase when she spotted a significant mistake on the teleprompter.
In her live broadcast, Celia corrected the error by clarifying, “The nominees aren’t for ‘Best Lead Actor in a Drama,’ but rather they are for ‘Best Drama Program.'”
In a jaw-dropping moment that sent ripples through the audience, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “It seems someone back at Channel Seven has pulled a fast one on me!” The scene was set with a pre-recorded package of nominees, and my declaration sparked a wave of laughter and intrigue among those present.
On KIIS FM’s “Will and Woody” show shortly following the event, the actress from Rosehaven confessed that she received a reprimand from an employee at Channel Seven due to an explicit comment she made.
She shared about her conversation with someone from Channel Seven: “They simply introduced themselves as an employee and I responded, ‘I’m afraid I don’t work for you.'”
Celia asserted that the network abandoned her when they made an error on the teleprompter, and then admitted that she felt ‘proud’ about her actions.

In simpler terms, she expressed on Thursday’s program that they had left her in a difficult situation (thrown under the bus). She clarified that she was merely reading from the teleprompter (autocue), and by doing so, she added some excitement to the broadcast.
‘It was funny and it wasn’t my fault. I just read the thing.’
Following the widespread dissemination of Celia’s expletive at the Logies, this public figure disclosed that certain enthusiasts have proposed memorializing her utterance in a lasting manner.
“People keep telling me they’re planning to print this on t-shirts,” I joked, “it seems I’ve stumbled upon a new catchphrase!”
It’s surprising because I had grown accustomed to people expressing relief by saying, “I’m so glad you’re here,” upon seeing me.
‘Now I’ve got to get used to people going, “Celia, someone on Channel Seven has f**ked me”.’
