In simpler, more conversational terms: Chanelle Hayes showed off her stunning physique in a vibrant yellow swimsuit while embarking on a boat trip in Tenerife.
In the peak of her popularity in 2009, the renowned figure from Big Brother, aged 37, tipped the scales at around 8.5 stones, consumed very little food, and used laxatives as an attempt to attain a “WAG physique”.
Looking back to the year 2020, I found myself embarking on a transformative journey that involved a discreet gastric sleeve procedure. Reaching a weight of 17 stones, I decided it was time for change. The surgery marked the beginning of my metamorphosis as I shed an impressive 10 stones, transitioning from a size 18 to a more comfortable size 8. This transformation not only improved my physical appearance but also significantly boosted my confidence and well-being.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I was thrilled to exhibit the fruits of my recent weight loss journey in the stunning landscapes of the Canary Islands on Monday. With a sense of pride and confidence, I leisurely sauntered along the pier adorned in a vibrant, fitted yellow two-piece swimsuit.
As an utterly smitten admirer, I can’t help but share this thrilling news: While basking in the warmth of my sun-soaked vacation, I caught sight of Chantelle embarking on a delightful water adventure with her cherished companions! They were all aboard a boat, ready to set sail and make waves!
She took a sip from her drink, all the while enjoying a hearty laugh and unwinding with her pals aboard the yacht. In this setting, she was spotted donning a stylish pair of white semi-transparent lace shorts on top of her bikini.

Last year, I, as a passionate admirer, learned from Chantelle herself that her decision for surgery was essentially her last hope, a choice borne out of decades of discontent. This life-altering procedure she chose to undergo was performed at the esteemed Burcot Hall Hospital nestled in Worcestershire.
At that point, she shared some transformative before-and-after images of her weight loss journey on social media platforms. She noted that the surgery significantly improved her life, and expressed no remorse about the decision.
Last month, Chanelle announced her recent professional shift on Instagram, having just qualified as a nurse and starting her new career.
As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but marvel at the throwback picture the star posted, a charming snapshot of her in a nurse’s outfit from way back when. But the real showstopper was the comparison she made – alongside that childhood photo, she also shared images from her recent graduation and her brand-new uniform as a fully-fledged nurse! It’s clear that my idol is living out her dreams, and I can’t help but feel inspired by her journey.
She wrote: “I’ve been sharing fewer posts lately. This isn’t due to lack of ideas, but rather because I’ve taken on a new job role that I’ve aspired to for years, yet hesitated to pursue. Now, I’m adjusting to this exciting new position.
It’s truly heartwarming to say that during tough times, my husband and parents have been incredibly steadfast, offering me an abundance of unwavering love and encouragement.
Due to my studies, some family trips had to be put on hold. However, my children have witnessed firsthand the hard work, effort, and dedication I’ve put into earning my degree.
‘This taught my children that people can say cruel things about their mum, but she was resilient.

They overheard others suggesting I should give up for an easier task, yet they saw me putting in tremendous effort and eventually earning a top-tier honor, a first class degree.
‘Feeling burdened by guilt over devoting too much time to studying while my children needed me, I now realize that I imparted a valuable lesson. Regardless of your ambitions, persevere and stay committed; eventually, you will reach your goal.’
During an interview with The Daily Mail, the ex-model revealed that a surgery performed in 2020 established a ‘physical boundary’ intended to limit her excessive eating, but she’s been alarmed as she’s slipped back into old habits of consuming large amounts of chocolate and pizza, which have brought about an unpleasant health condition.
The condition known as ‘Dumping Syndrome’ refers to a medical issue in which food, especially sweet foods, travels excessively fast from the stomach into the small intestine, resulting in symptoms such as bloating, nausea, abdominal cramps, lightheadedness, rapid heartbeat, and possibly vomiting.
As a devoted follower, I’ve come to understand that managing certain conditions, often linked to gastric surgeries, requires a specific approach to diet. To keep things running smoothly, it’s beneficial to opt for smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day instead of three large ones. Additionally, increasing protein and fiber intake while minimizing sugary foods becomes crucial in this regimen.
For Chanelle, experiencing the symptoms is particularly distressing due to her long-standing fear of vomiting, known as emetophobia. She describes this fear as a constant source of terror in her life.
The woman who is a mother of three and recently married Dan Bingham shared with TopMob that before their wedding, she had lost an ‘unhealthy’ amount of weight, around seven stones, due to stress. However, she now claims to be happier than ever with her body after long years of struggling with disordered eating habits.

She mentioned that this obstacle prevents her from consuming food. Essentially, she can’t overeat as doing so would cause her to vomit. Eating harmful foods could lead to conditions like dumping syndrome, diarrhea, vomiting, sweating – it compels one to stick to a healthy diet strictly.
Just to clarify, I do indulge in treats like chocolate bars, milkshakes, or pizza slices occasionally, but when I overindulge and consume more than my body can handle, it usually results in discomfort.”
This version is a bit more polite and less dramatic, while still conveying the idea that the person sometimes consumes unhealthy foods in excess, which leads to negative consequences.
I also have an intense fear of vomit that is quite overwhelming. It’s truly distressing for me, and it causes me great anxiety. I find myself able to manage most other bodily fluids, regardless of their origin, but when it comes to vomit, it fills me with terror.
‘Instead of wolfing down food without thinking, try to chew carefully and pay attention to what you’re eating. Avoid distractions like using your phone or watching TV while you eat.’
