Chanel West Coast reveals her dad has 'inoperable' cancer as she asks for prayers

As an ardent fan of Chanel West Coast, I find myself deeply moved by her recent heart-wrenching revelation about her father’s health battle. Growing up with such a rich musical background, it’s no wonder that she gravitated towards hip-hop and rap, inspired by the likes of Tupac Shakur. Her story is a testament to the power of music and its ability to heal and connect us.

Chanel West Coast disclosed that her father is battling an advanced stage of cancer, asking her followers to keep him in their prayers and hope for a medical breakthrough.

Last Friday, the well-known rap artist and TV figure, who recently disclosed her choice between liposuction and Ozempic, sadly announced that her father, Seth Kuriloff, has been diagnosed with a non-surgical cancerous growth.

West Coast (Chelsea Chanel Dudley, aged 36) expressed on Instagram and Twitter that her father has an incurable tumor which is too large to be treated with chemotherapy. At present, they are seeking a remarkable healing event or intervention.

If you trust in God’s power, I humbly request that each of you offer a prayer for my father. May he find the strength to overcome this challenging time. I am deeply grateful for your kindness and support. 😘🕌❤️

Originally from Los Angeles, she titled her post with a heartfelt plea: ‘Could you please offer prayers for my father’s recovery? Every prayer counts; we truly need them all. I have faith in miracles and I believe that if enough people join together in prayer, he might just have a chance.’

Following her post on Instagram Stories, the Ridiculousness star shared a subsequent message: “It’s during your toughest moments that you discover who genuinely cares.

On Friday, Linda Kuriloff, her stepmother, shared the same image to her Instagram Stories, accompanying it with a broken heart and hand-praying emoji.

As a kid, I split my time between two vibrant cities – spending half the year in the glamorous heart of Los Angeles, North Hollywood, with my mom, and the other half in the electrifying pulse of New York City, where my dad held down the turntables as a DJ.

She attributes her affinity for hip-hop and her choice to become a rapper to the trips she made to the East Coast and her father’s occupation as a disc jockey who played records there.

On his DJ gigs at bustling nightclubs, as stated on his official site, Dudley often took his then 8-year-old daughter, Chanel, along with him. She would typically conceal herself under his DJ booth.

She’s been immersed in music throughout her life and felt it was her calling. She never really had another option when it came to choosing a profession, as she decided to make a career out of music.

As it happens, Tupac Shakur’s iconic track “How Do U Want It” served as the inspiration for her to seize the microphone and embark on her rapping journey at the tender age of 14 years old.
