Under the guidance of MAPPA and Tatsuya Yoshihara’s direction, this movie brings to life the intense “Bomb Girl” storyline from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, picking up where the first season ended. The preview hints at a significant change in mood, combining intense action sequences with palpable emotional stress as Denji interacts with Reze, a cryptic café employee whose arrival turns his world on its head.

The trailer unveiled a fresh melody titled “IRIS OUT,” which is both produced and sung by Kenshi Yonezu, serving as his second musical piece for Chainsaw Man, following the hit opening theme song “KICK BACK” in the TV series. The highly anticipated Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is slated to hit Japanese cinemas on September 19.

It’s been announced that the global premiere of the movie is set for October 29, 2025, as Sony Pictures Entertainment has secured the rights to show it in cinemas worldwide. The film will debut in both the U.S. and the U.K. on that date.
