Chad Powers on Hulu updates: Everything we know so far

As a gaming enthusiast with a soft spot for comedy series, I’ve kept my eyes peeled for any updates on Hulu’s upcoming comedy, “Chad Powers.” While Glen Powell’s transformation in the first look left me scratching my head, I’m still confident that his talent will shine through. After all, if he can make a tornado movie watchable, he can certainly deliver some laughs here!

As a long-time fan of Glen Powell’s acting skills, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of “Chad Powers.” Earlier this summer, Hulu gave us a sneak peek at this upcoming comedy, and I was immediately intrigued. Since then, I’ve been keeping tabs on any updates regarding this highly-anticipated project. In this blog post, I aim to share everything we know about “Chad Powers” so far, to help fellow enthusiasts like myself stay informed and excited for its release.

To put it straightforwardly, although I’m a big fan of Glen Powell, I have to admit that the initial glimpse Hulu shared left me feeling less than enthusiastic. Let’s face it, the Twisters actor certainly looks quite different. However, let me emphasize that Powell is an exceptionally talented and hilarious actor, which is exactly what the upcoming comedy Chad Powers requires. Despite my reservations about the first look, we’re still keeping our eyes peeled for more updates on the comedy, so stay tuned as more details emerge.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that I just learned some exciting news about my favorite series, Chad Powers. According to the latest update from Deadline, four talented actors have joined the cast. These include Clayne Crawford, best known for his role in The Finestkind, Xavier Mills who charmed us all in Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Colton Ryan from Poker Face, and the legendary Toby Huss, remembered for his chilling performance in Fatal Attraction. I can hardly contain my excitement!

The comedy series, titled “Chad Powers,” chronicles the life of Russ Holliday, whose reckless actions ended his college football career as a quarterback. In search of redemption, Russ decides to mask his identity and adopt a new name, Chad Powers. This ruse initially proves successful, allowing him to join a Southern football team.

Apart from Powell and the newly inducted actors, Chad Powers will join the cast along with Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Steve Zahn.

As I type this up, it’s still a mystery when Hulu plans to release the series, “Chad Powers”, considering filming kicked off as recently as August 2024. However, what we do know is that the initial season will consist of ten episodes. My hunch is that this hilarious comedy will make its debut on Hulu around mid-2025, so stay tuned for updates!
